You didn’t go to 1993 because Mark Brunell was drafted 5th rd. You could have just said he is the only starter to come from the 5th rd. But you conveniently stopped at 1994. Let’s do 6th rd picks now. Tom Brady Marc Bulger Matt Hasellback Mark Rypien. Now let’s do 7th rd picks Gus Ferrotte, Matt Cassell, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brock Purdy (most recent selection).

Moral to the story? Either Shadeur defeats the odds and becomes a starter in the NFL. Or he becomes a career backup stop gap starter like Tyrod Taylor/Gardner Minshew carving out years of NFL experience. Or he fades away. The fact some people have a whole agenda where they researched a draft history of 5th td picks go year to year until 1993 is weird. Especially when Sandwrs hasn’t been labeled a generational talent. Future perrenial all pro. Maybe I’ll have to dig thru the thread and expose what poster has him in this regard. Very weird energy at this point.

Seeing the numbers for the kicker from Miami we drafted, he seems like he's going to be a seamless fit in the NFL. 133/134 on XP and has a leg that reaches 50+ with ease.

Anyway, kind of wish eagles took the DT Giants got. He looks damn good watching highlights on him. Granted who doesn’t look good in highlights. Just saying would’ve been nice addition after losing Milton. Always good to have rotating DL studs.
