Masterpiece. Perfect movie pretty much. I thought him coming back for the next trip/adventure at the end was a little rushed, but the explanation in the 2nd part made it sensible.
8.8/10 (no pun intended)

Initially I thought this movie was too corny and repetitive, with the same characters, same storylines, which seemed very implausible with Marty and his son, and much goofier and silly. But it did turn with some twists and new angles and gave me something new.
I think I had some timetable/timetravel/alt. universe questions but I forgot to write this review when I watched the movies b2b which was a month or 2 ago.
7.5/10

28 Days Later.... it was good but not as good as I had hoped. Ending was kinda lame

1972, John Carpenters... The Thing
Very good visuals for it's time, good story.... 7.5 / 10

Just watched Weapons finally. Loved it. Probably a 9.1/10.
Incredibly well crafted not just for a horror movie but in general. Managed to bring humor in at just the right times and none of the scares were cheap at all, and ended up making sense.
Cregger might be the top dawg of modern horror. James Wan, Ari Aster, and Eggers had their runs but if Cregger can 3peat soon then the crown is his and will be bigger than any of those predecessors. Eggers is still going but he's sometimes drifting into other areas.
Horror has been trending towards comedic elements for a while now and having an actual comedian who can time things perfectly write these movies is helpful.

I wondered about that cause I recorded it off of IFC channel and it said 1972 in the description. Thought Russell looked kinda old for 1972 but didn't a fact check was necessary on the year.

No... before I started the movie, I had a general idea how old Kurt was. Then when I saw him and it was stated that movie was made in 1972, I thought "maybe he's older than what I thought" cause he looks older in the movie than I thought he was.
Now that Doom says it was 82... it makes more sense that I thought he looked older cause there's a 10yr difference. If it was made in 72 and after looking up his date of birth is 1951... would've meant he would've been only 21 when making that movie. That's why I said I thought he looked old for an alleged 21yr old.
