Was just about to post that. Good luck to him. I wish him the best, he seems like he has a great head on his shoulders.

Didn't expect this but it makes sense with all the guards we have coming in this year and next. Best of luck to him in whatever he decides to pursue.
dammit jeff jordan! you had so much promise! this instantly catapults them into the bottom 3 of the big ten
Although each player in attendance had more than one exceptional moment, the aforementioned Jones and Melo along with Jared Sullinger (Columbus, Ohio/ Northland), Meyers Leonard (Robinson, Ill.), and Tobias Harris (Dix Hill, N.Y./ Half of Hollow West) appeared to be a cut above the rest.

1. Myers Leonard, 2010 (Robinson, Ill.)
Leonard, an Illinois commit, is an intriguing prospect for the next level. He has budding skills and savvy beyond his years. Once his frame (struggled to finish with contact) fills out he should be one of the most talented college prospects. His athleticism is tremendous and despite being 6-10 he is quite comfortable out on the perimeter. He handles it very well for his size, can knock down the jump shot at the elbow, and his passing both out on the perimeter as well as in the paint area are high-level. He has quick wrists and his vision is that of a point forward at times.
Leonard seems to be impressing everyone at every camp he goes too. He seems to get better and better everyday. I'm getting even more excited for the 2010 class.
The only bummer is Crandall Head's stock seems to be dropping. There's a kid that could really benefit from going to a prep school like Findlay and getting his head out of his ass because he's way too talented. Although Jereme Richmond recently said that Crandall was back and played really well at the NBAPA Top 100 camp. So hopefully that's true.
But yes, Leonard's improvement almost seems exponential every event he plays in. His combination of skillset, athleticism and size is terrific.
Ha, if you put the cursor over the picture of Leonard on the recruiting front page, it says "Leonard Meyers." Yes, that would be a more logical first name/last name, unfortunately not many white guys under the age of 80 are named Leonard. They damn well should be, though.
Also, from the looks of that picture it looks like Meyers has added some muscle. There's some actual definition in his upper body.
One of the best tight ends in the country, C.J. Fiedorowicz out of Johnsburg, Illinois, committed to the Illini today. This is unbelievable. This kid was considered a long shot for the longest time till he got on campus a few weeks ago and is now committed. Zook is amazing
Lets go Prater, we're waiting on you now!
