Slippery slope argument:
"Well, if we let gays be gays because it is natural, then we have to let fundamentally immoral actions to be acceptable because it is natural to them. But wait, we can't stop there. Gay people want gay romance because straight people have romance. Might as well ban straight relationships because if we do, we won't come back to this slippery slope into murders wanting acceptance in society."
Ill never understand people who believe being gay is a choice.

In fact both Reich (horse****er with strong Oedipus complex) and Kinsey (pedo) were proponents of this (among other things like bestiality). It just was too much to accept for the general population:lol

Stop avoiding the real question why is being in a same sex relationship wrong pedophilia and incest are not comparable to two adults of of the same gender being in a relationship

In some societies, its ok to marry little girls. Who are you to say its wrong? You keep using the term "consenting adults", but who are you to determine whos adult and who isn't? What if two 13 year olds want to marry. Based on your stance, you should be championing their right to make decisions about their own lives. They arent hurting anyone.

The thread isn't about pedophilia and it's about same sex relationships why is that wrong

Kids have no power. To be in a sexual relationship with a adult who can drive own land drink is wrong the kid could be made into slave and forced to do things he or she doesn't want two consenting adults having sex isn't wrong even if they are the same gender
Some people just choose to be gay - nothing wrong with that. Not everyone that is gay is born gay. I think that this kid was born gay and its shameful how his parents are reacting. I wish he posted a followup video so we can see how he's doing now.

Different issues with different arguments centering around each.
The main point is we should use as much reasoning as possible when determining the rules to govern ourselves. Which is where nonsense like the Bible falls short and becomes outdated.
Homosexuality doesnt affect the two people involved anymore than a straight relationship, which is why we should not have laws against it. THe laws against it more or less come from religion which uses faith instead of reason.
Incest is the same way. The reasoning against incest is that it increases the likely hood of similar genes being mixed together, but nobody rationale is out there actively looking for brothers and sisters who partake in it and dont have children.
Pedophilia is a problem because children are not developed enough to make decisions on their own. In some societies they clearly dont care, but we can demonstrate that here in the United States. Honesty as long as pedos arent actively seeking children to harm there is nothing you can do about them either.
You can say homosexuality is wrong according to your moral compass or book but so what? Deal with one issue at a time. Is God going to come and spite homosexuals? No. Let them be who they want to be, unless you can demonstrate reasonable harm being done like you can with incest (with children) and pedophilia .
