:oldlol: @ this retarded ass topic. Dudes in here debating about players real height when they dont have shoes on? Seriously, who gives a flying fucc about a players official height while in socks? It's not like they play the game barefoot any ****in way. I'm 5'11 without shoes and about 6'0 and a 1/2 with shoes on, so i consider myself 6 feet tall when I'm in public since thats my height IN PUBLIC. Same like these players, they may be 6 foot 4 and 3/4 or whatever once their in socks getting prepared for the game, but when they step out on that court, they're 6'6 ON THE COURT and thats all that matters.
You're an idiot. I'm 5-7 3/4 and I walk down the street in shoes but I consider myself 5'9" walking down the street.
Someones actual height is their height as it has been measured without shoes, if they want to list height in shoes then they should specify that. What are they going to start weighing the players in shoes too?

:oldlol: Shut the fucc up you punk ass b!tch. Is it really that serious son? All this hostility over height, my goodness you lame homie. If your 5'9 in shoes, then got dammit your 5'9 IN THE PUBLIC EYE.
You actually expect people and players to be specific with their height? lol I can see the pa announcers now,"from lower merion high school, 6'4 and 3/4ths, standing at guard, no. 24, kobeeeeeeee brrrrrrryant" Get the fucc outta here man.
When the man steps out on that court is 6'6, and thats what he should be listed at, since that is his height on the basketball court and in public.
You're a f*cking moron if a person if 6'4" then they are 6'4" biologically. Whether or not they are wearing high heels or stilts it doesn't matter.:banghead:
I'm a Laker fan and while I originally thought he was around 6'6 I think it's obvious he's not. If anything, he's 6'4 and a 1/2 or 6'5. One reason he doesn't dominate like Michael Jordan did was because he has smaller hands and isn't as tall.

No I'm not. I've never heard an average person claim their height in shoes. That's usually a short guys way of trying to gain an extra inch.
Sylvester Stallone wears huge ass boots all the time, is he 6'1" in the public eye?

I don't expect people to be specific I expect them to round to the closest inch. Like Bosh measured 6-10 1/4 without shoes and is listed 6-10. Or some players actually are listed at their exact barefoot heights like Shaq and Kevin Durant.

The man is about 6-5, David Stern even admitted the height with shoes sh*t is just for hype.
next they will be measuring how big his d1ck is
So many losers recently bringing up the fact that Kobe is 6'4 lol.
u got WAAAy too much time on ya hands amigo
Bryant is 6`6 and 1/2 around 1,985 mt
Jordan is 6`5 and 7/8 around 1.97 mt
Jordan was stronger phyisically though. His muscule tone was stronger.
Don`t look for early All Star Game photos where both appear because Bryant was like 18 or 19 years old. In fact people actually grow like 1 or 2 cms after that, usually to around 21 years of age
Bryant is 6`6 and 1/2 around 1,985 mt
Jordan is 6`5 and 7/8 around 1.97 mt
 Those estimates are way off.
Again, what was Kobe's FIBA measurement? Those are usually accurate.

Well it wasn't posted on the official FIBA website but a search found a poster on a forum posting these as the FIBA listings for some star players.
Shawn Bradley 7-6
Yao Ming 7-5 3/4
Dirk Nowitzki 6-11 1/2
Tim Duncan 6-10 1/2
Kevin Garnett 6-11 1/4
Amare Stoudemire 6-9 1/4
Shaquille O'Neal 7-1 1/2
Tracy McGrady 6-7 1/2
Carmelo Anthony 6-6 1/4
Lebron James 6-7 1/4
Kobe Bryant 6-5 1/4
Steve Nash 6-1 1/2
Allen Iverson 5-10 1/2
Exactly 2 of those measurements match the players pre-draft measurements.
Shaq's pre-draft measurement was 7'1" even, Yao's was 7'5" but the Rockets reported he grew to 7'5 3/4", The Sixers said Bradley was 7'5 1/2" in socks when they drafted him, Garnett claims to be 6'11 3/4", Amare was measured 6'8 1/2" when he was drafte dbut the Suns claimed he grew to 6'9 1/4" and Steve Nash's pre-draft measurement was 6'1".
Who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hammerhead: :hammerhead: :hammerhead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
