There is nothing to speculate about why people dislike Kobe Bryant :
Here are the reasons and it's quite simple :
1) Kobe's personality (lack of charactor and basically sticks to himself)
2) His immulation at an early age of MJ
3) His comparison of MJ
4) His national news coverage of charges of raping a [I]Girl[/I]
5) Paying off the woman - legally
6) Boyish acts between him and Shaq & Jackson
7) Jackson's (million dollar money maker) writes book and calls out Kobe.
8) Sports critic's dis Kobe after Shaq goes to Heat and talks about Kobe's ball hogging.
++ Many fans that look at this sport passively or are serious fans admired MJ as the GOAT and for someone to try to act like him was in many peoples minds distasteful. Then these same average fans or non-fans heard of rape charges pressed against not just an NBA player , but supposedly the best player - once again strike 2 occurred.
And then after a 3 peat team breaks up , and boyish rants occurred within the team , people start looking at charactor flaws - see above comments.
And finally the most acclaimed NBA coach writes about a book and diss's the same player - people [I]wonder [/I] why people would dislike or hate a particular player ?
As for my self , I've been around long enough , if comments are made , why were these comments made I have to ask my self.
As a NBA fan I watch and am entertained by watching the game and that is it. I have favorite players as well as favorite teams , and I still back my Bucks team after all the losing seasons.
Stay a fan - watch the games and the great plays : thats what it's all about for me. (sorry for the long dialog)
