Yep and still have cap space to sign a starting sg plus the mid-level for another good rotation player. Vets would line up to play for the vet minimum for a top 4 team. You wouldn't hate to see Exum go?
I was a Jazz fan before Exum and I'll still be one after! Same with Ingles.
Just want to see the team get better.

also lacks length. next!
Anigbogu could be a solid answer for their future, likely competing with last year

Well you'd think everyone would want them to get better but it seems like more people want Exum starting which to me doesn't make them better unless he suddenly turns it all around.
Love Ingles and he had a great year but was disappointing in their losses in GS. I think he has to go to unless he agrees to sign very cheaply and he'd be stupid to no matter how close him and Hayward are or how much he loves it here

Im basically on the thought process of if we keep Hayward then Exum is the obvious asset to trade out to help with immediate improvements. If we lose Hayward we may as well keep him and see if he can develop.
Not sure Exum has a lot of value. He's still young and is a great athlete so I'm sure there are some tanking teams that would take him just not sure the return will be much. Clears a bit of money anyway.

Lit it up at free agent camp it says.
Chris Vivlamore: With reports of $99 million salary cap now, Paul Millsap max would be 5-years, $200,970,000 from Hawks and 4-years, $148,995,000 from other.
Susie Giese: Big news coming out of the US that @WarrnamboolS
News dropped in the @tribjazz podcast: Gordon Hayward is torn on if he should stay in Utah or leave in free agency
The Spurs selected Hill 26th overall in the 2008 NBA draft. The team then traded the point guard, who is constantly labeled as one of Popovich
5.9. Five point 9 wins. That is what Utah is looking to replace in the offseason to show Gordon Hayward that they are serious about contending. 5.9 wins is what George Hill provided for the Utah Jazz. With George Hill and the Utah Jazz unable to come to an extension last year, the Utah Jazz will enter the offseason a point guard short of a convincing offer to Gordon Hayward. Which is why the Utah Jazz would be wise to trade for Patrick Beverley. The 28 year old point Houston guard provided the Rockets with 5.3 wins.

Lopez was a better fit. Too bad his knees didn't hold up
With their picks at Nos. 14 and 16, the Jazz went with Kris Humphries and Kirk Snyder. The future (and now former) Mr. Kardashian eventually became a solid pro, but was a bad fit in Utah and after proclaiming himself a Rookie of the Year front-runner
Humphries hits 3's now. Might be a fit!
8) Dealing for Curtis Borchardt (2002)
He could have been good too if his body would have held up

Lindsey the wizard!

Could have went big with Jonas V :facepalm

Jasn't been a financial burden yet

Still not great shooting. Might be good enough but can he do that over a full year? Not a great fit regardless. Jerry would have loved him though!
David J. Smith @davidjsmith1232
I don't think they are a package deal. It sounds like the Jazz are working on obtaining another PG Rubio, Beverley have been mentioned.
I don't know if Hill would like it but I could see bringing him back as the starting 2 as well. Better than anyone they have currently at the position
Andy Larsen ✔ @andyblarsen
Jazz fans should root against Celtics acquiring Porzingis. He's the cheapest star available & would be easier to fit Hayward in cap space.
And more importantly he could be the rim protecter that they're missing while still allowing them to play 5 out
Jody Genessy @DJJazzyJody
The Jazz have increased their international budget and presence, so we can anticipate that they'll do a draft-and-stash or two today, too.
It's time. A big part of the Spurs success is that they're roster is larger than everyone else's because of all the guys they have stashed away

Well, that ended up happening!
Got the length they love. Another player that can play with and without the ball and defend hopefully. He wanted to play for the Jazz too!
Lyles earned this with his selfish play this season. Hopefully Lindsey finally makes a good lottery pick!
dan clayton @danclayt0n
Jazz will save $1.4M, too. Trey & #24 will combine for 4M next season, Mitchell will make 2.6M.
I'm guessing he could be in play for the back-up pg slot to the chagrin of Exum lovers. Defensively I'm sure they'd love him there best. Could still run the ball through Hood, Burks etc. Ideally he starts with the Stars and can help them later in the year. He is almost 21 so he isn't as young as most
Joe Ingles ✔ @Joeingles7
Wishing my guy @TreyLyles all the best in this next part of his career! 👊🏻👊🏻
Hopefully Hayward is ok with this. Supposedly Lyles, Ingles and Hayward would go out to eat together. Also from Indy

Sounds like they might be looking for a new starter. I'd guess Exum, Neto or Mitchell will back-up the 1
Jimmy Butler was linked to the Boston Celtics, who will pursue Gordon Hayward come July 1. Now that Butler is in Minnesota, the Celtics can't add Butler to its team with hopes of convincing Hayward to come too. From a competitive standpoint, the Timberwolves will have the pieces - led by Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins - to compete for a playoff spot, making the road more difficult for Utah.
good news as far as Hayward goes I guess? Wolves will be tough though!
Alec Burks' future, however, is now in question.
thought it already was?
If the Jazz do end up re-signing Joe Ingles, Burks will have a tough time cracking Quin Snyder's rotation.
A healthy Burks makes anyone's rotation. Ingles needs to go!
now that Lyles is gone, the Jazz could be in the market for another forward, or potentially guarantee Boris Diaw's contract (the deadline for that is July 15).
They can't pick up Diaw's deal. Will need a replacement for Favors at some point. Bolomboy replaces Lyles
Trey Lyles ✔ @TreyLyles

Good pick and now they don't need to sign George hill. Hopefully #2017NBADraft
don't need Hill because of a rookie? Wonder what Hayward will think of that as he signs with Boston.

There's a lot to like about Tony Bradley. Stats models love him. I think he's much better than people realize. A lot to like about him.

Tony Bradley is great value here. Utah Jazz got a terrific back up to Rudy Gobert. He snuck up on the bloggers.

The Jazz can only send out $1.9M in trades (buying a pick). Sent out $1.6M in the Pleiss salary dump. https://sports.yahoo.com/verticals-draft-night-reference-guide-145139567.html?soc_src=mail&soc_trk=ma
As long as Favors. Doesn't shoot the 3. Hit the boards as much offensively as defensively. Bradley, Mitchell and Wallace to lead the Stars!
David J. Smith @davidjsmith1232
The Jazz will be in the market for a stretch 4, via trade or free agency. Kevin Love, anyone?
sounds like there wasn't a lot of demand for Love. Where is this stretch 4 playing with Favors, Johnson and Bolomboy around? Should probably be Hayward actually.
They got their young center. Need a vet but might have to wait until they trade Favors to fill some holes.
Need a starting 2. Sign Hill and Hayward.
Can get their 2nd two way contract with their last pick
Goss is someone I've seen. He's a player. The next Gonzaga star for the Jazz?
decent length and shooter. hit the boards.
So him and Wallace get the 2 two way contracts with the 2 first rounders joining them in the Gleague. Need a starting sg. Trade Johnson and Diaw(or dump him and possibly sign him cheaper for the end of the bench). Let Exum, Neto, Burks and Hood fight it out for the reserve minutes at the 1,2, and 3. Fill it out with vets. Bolomboy back-up 4. Sign Hill and Hayward
