Re: I have a kidney donor!
Which is lame... and oh Myth... I said "hope you have a speedy recovery" and suddenly I'm signing up to slurp the "bone" marrow yet not what the typical patient chart would indicate, right? According to GOBB.
LOL, I'm sorry to bring it all back up... but I just hate when I try to be serious about something and I can't be taken that way... and I suppose part of it is my own fault, but realistically dude, in case there was some confusion, I truly did mean what I said.
I know you meant what you said. If you didn't, you wouldn't have also sent me a PM last week.

^^ Love First 48. Favorite part is when the hardcore dude turns into a whimpering puddle of jelly "oh my life is over, help me momma"
No shit you jackass, you just carved up 3 people with a butter knife, tried to frame your best friend for the deed now you want a ****ing do over
Re: I have a kidney donor!
Dick farts.... what did I miss? Do they smell?
The masty session sounds crazy. That would have freaked me out, bruising it. I wonder what the scientific explanation for that is.
No, they don't smell, other than the smell of pee, which easily could be just the urine.
I'm pretty sure the bruising is because of the urine catheter. The catheter was in for about 5 days, and it was very uncomfortable. It burned when I peed for about 12 hours after the catheter was removed too. I don't even know if the bruising was because of the jerk session or if it was just coincidental timing of when it started developing, because it was 2 days later, and I looked it up online, and bruising to the dick and scrotum can occur up to 2 days later anyway without jerking it.
Re: I have a kidney donor!

I wish the tables could talk because everyone puts their heads on it crying or trying to sleep and wake up from whats going on.
Re: I have a kidney donor!
perhaps you will need another one in the future you say ?.......this condition you have, did it just come out of nowhere or did you do something to mess with the kidneys........(very unlikely, i know).........just curious

I have IgA Nephropathy, which is a chronic kidney disease. I was diagnosed with it when I was 19 and a Freshman in college. Knowledge of why people get it is limited, and the closest explanation I ever got was that heredity increases the likelihood of getting it. Nobody in my family has a history of any kidney issues though. And even though it is increased through heredity, my potential future kids having say twice the likelihood of getting the disease are still not expected to get it themselves. I don't know the exact numbers though.
Re: I have a kidney donor!
We take our health for granted. I'm an organ donor. I hope your kids and kids kids dont get it. Let this be a rare occurence I guess. Is the persons kidney you recieve anonymous, confidential? Or do you have the option to know who it is that gave you the kidney?

The person is anonymous. I am allowed to write a letter of thanks to him, but he doesn't want to know who I am either, so I'm supposed to take out identifying info about me in my thank you card (they also told me to wait a couple months before writing it). If he changes his mind about staying anonymous, he can tell the transplant team and we can meet up.

Interesting. Would like to read the letter you end up sending him

I may post it, or post the gist of it. I'll probably concentrate on how it affects my life and how thankful I am.

That is pretty cool. I feel like most people would want to have that gratification of being able to hear "oh, you saved my life, you are awesome!". Instead, whoever just donated you that kidney is doing a kind deed just to do one. Really makes you appreciated what you have in life.

CED if you visited I'd kill you then bury you in a cementary nearby. I'm taking my talents to the First 48. Being as tho your brain lags I'm not quite sure you know what First 48 even is. Ah well.

Seriously man, if I'm ever in Philly (I don't know why, all conferences I have been to have been LA, Vegas, New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta) anyway, if I'm ever there, I'm sending you a PM, then creating a thread called, "GOBB, did you get my PM?"
Meeting a potential Jeffrey Dahmer over the internet is some scary shit. The only guys on here I have come close to communicating with in real life are kwajo and AKADS.
I'd buy your old ass a beer
