It was so dirty that the current shooters landing rule came from that very play. It's called the Kawhi Rule.

You have to be a special kind of retard to have conspiracies about the league if you are a Warriors/Lakers/Celtics fan. I get it you want to be a victim but have some common sense at least.

They’re letting n!ggas get hurt left and right this first week of the playoffs.
I suspect they’ll start doing the Warriors favors if Jimmy is playing, they’ll give him a Mike/Kobe whistle, for a game or two. And Curry will get a great whistle as well those games. I also expected the Lakers to be getting a tight whistle but no signs of that yet, that series is ROUGH.
Re: (2) Rockets vs. (7) Warriors First Round Playoff Series Thread
They can, altho I honestly will be surprised if they do.
I expect the Rockets will smell blood in the water with no Jimbo and they'll crank up the voltage even higher.
Warriors have no poise or toughness without Butler. I expect Curry to fold up like a ragdoll when the pressure starts to build, and Draymond will probably go the complete opposite direction and get himself ejected from at least one of the games.
Remember, the Warriors only win when they have that steady, consistent figure out on the wing. Iguodala. Durant. Wiggins. Butler.
With no JB they dont have that. Curry and Green are not getting the job done on their own. One is too soft, the other is too aggressive. They're an odd couple. They need that third guy tying them together.
The role players are gonna have to have huge nights to compensate, and I doubt that they will.
This.
Also not having a decent big does hurt them too. Guys like bogut, pachulia and mcgee were quite useful for them in setting up multiple screens. Going small-ball wouldn't cut it anymore.

Zaza had no history before or after of injuring other players. People see what they want to see.
My pick is the same with Houston in 5-6, but like I said, it wouldn't surprise me if Curry pulled something off to extend it.
You guys really think Golden State getting swept @ home...? By the Rockets? I mean anythings possible but the warriors are still betting favorites right now for G3 and stole HCA.
I mean it would take a herculean effort from Curry to win with Podz as his 2nd option. No superstar in the league is going far with that even tho I like podz there's levels to this shit.
But still don't see them getting spanked and swept at home by the Rockets. Did you guys even watch game 1?

You must not think Butler was that important to them. And yes I think it's possible they get swept at home in two games. But also I said 5-6, which is a split since the format is 2-2-1-1-1.
Re: (2) Rockets vs. (7) Warriors First Round Playoff Series Thread
It's not just about Butler. The Rockets just...aren't that good. If they beat an injured warrior team yea that be expected. If the Lakers lost Luka they'd get destroyed. If Minny lost Ant same thing. Nuggets Jokic, Clippers kawhi, so on and so forth.
But the warriors will have heart at home I hope. That place is gonna be electric and I don't think refs will let Houston play their mauling style defense on the road with the Dubs shorthanded. They'll probably get a favorable whistle on top of the crowd.

I'm a Hawks fan, he played for my team. Legit one of the dirtiest players ever. Dirty plays aren't collected on a stat sheet, most go unnoticed.

Reffing is so bad in this league you can't tell if it's just incompetence or if it's fixed at times so it doesn't matter which team you're a fan of. The endings to the Pistons-Knicks & Magic-Celtics games were so bad I don't blame anyone for having conspiracies. Weird shit happens all the time and when you've been watching long enough you kind of expect the team that's down in a series to get favorable calls in crunch time to extend a series.
I would expect the Warriors to get a favorable whistle at home where Rockets' players won't be able to breathe on Steph without a foul after mauling him in Game 2, allowing the Warriors to at least split these games at home with Jimmy hurt. We'll get a vintage Steph performance in at least one of the next 2 games.

Very much the case. Sometimes I've found that whatever is the right call, one should expect the wrong call. That has been more predictive than other mental models with today's nba refs.
