If Trump does fully inject the US military in this Israel v Iran conflict, this would easily be the worst first 6 months of a presidency. Trump looking to wreck his legacy, like he doesn't care how he will be viewed historically, what a weak man, instead of standing on his own stated principles...must be so disappointing for his cult members.

The only thing that would really shake things up is if China or Russia gets involved. Otherwise if the conflict is over swiftly and our involvement is limited to airstrikes, and we experience very little pain as a result, and Trump can tout "victory"... then I think the average person will stop caring about this in a few months.

The average person doesn't care about war unless it impacts them personally. They care even less about which regime is in charge over in Iran.

Check out the video, if you look at it by the perspective laid out in the video, the end goal is isolate to China. If China were smart, they along with Russia, will back militarily Iran to bog down the US and Israel to thwart their end goals. You're not gonna change anyone's mind shouting "Trump lied" because most people knew Trump was a shameless liar when they voted for him. Every single person that ever ran for president lied on the campaign trail. There was no way to vote in the last election and not cast your vote for a liar, so that's a moot point.

If the cost becomes too great and the war ends up jeopardizing the safety and stability of our country, then sure it will have been a colossal failure and Trump will go out in shame. But do we know that's bound to happen?

I have never once claimed Trump wasn't a liar.
