I dont know much about the guy but I agreed with Jerry's original sentiment a week ago that his team wasnt just one player away. And then they go out and give up big draft capital in a trade, and theyre likely still pretenders anyway.
I think emotion got the best of him. Even if they got a really nice player in the trade... the Cowboys just havent been impressive. I cant see one guy turning that all around. It feels like a waste of draft assets to make a win now trade. The Cowboys havent looked close enough to this point to justify that kind of trade.
I genuinely don't understand that trade from any perspective for the Cowboys. They aren't going anywhere this season and Williams isn't worth anywhere close to that kind of haul. That's one of the more puzzling NFL trades I've seen.
It starts at the top and Jerry has been senile for awhile now.

They have two firsts this coming up draft which is loaded with talent. No second rd pick which I guess you can make a fuss about. And 2027 they still have a first rd pick even tho one of them goes to NYJ. So what are they losing? While you can build your team via the draft the flip side are flop picks. Q Will is a proven stud in the middle of the line. He alone won’t turn the horrible defense around. But adding him is a nice start while you have w two firsts next year to add talent on defense. Logan Wilson I don’t care much for but they didn’t give up much for him either. Unsure his contract tho. For some reason I think he has a bad contract. Could be wrong.

Dies?
He killed himself.
Whenever a NFL player commits suicide.... yes, you have to ask yourself if CTE played a role.
maybe it didn't.... I just suggested it could be CTE.

I heard his mother passed during the draft process. Could've had the weight of the world on his shoulders and some sort of depression. Lots of speculation.
So everyone’s go to when a football athlete dies is CTE?
It probably has some sort of contribution towards it with varying levels with different cases.

You’re a conspiracy nutjob. When a regular person commits suicide it’s what? What do you suggest the reasons are? Take your time answering.

What's going on with you GOBB?
He played football since age 6, I suggest CTE COULD'VE played a role in his suicide.... and for God knows whatever reason, you have a problem with that. Why?
Why is that so bothersome to you?

There’s actual information that he changed when his mother passed. From people who have been around him. You went right to CTE. Just seems like throwing shyt against the wall hoping it sticks to me. Suicide + football athlete = CTE. Give me a break. Go find the demo company that rigged the towers with explosives for their controlled demolition to be pulled off.

Hoping it sticks to you?
Did I declare 100% CTE? was I even speaking to you directly when I posted it could be CTE related? I said it's a possibility and you say it's basically 100% related to his mom passing.
I think you have some kind of weird anger issues GOBB.... you read people's opinion's on a forum and go into meltdown mode when you disagree.

Never said it was 100% related to his mother’s death. I clearly said you’re first go to was CTE when it’s reports of folks close to him saying he lost his mother. And hasn’t been the same since. I also asked you a general question on why people commit suicide which you ignored and ran to CTE because it’s a football player. The point that you missed because your tinfoil hat is on too tight. Is that speculating why he committed suicide as CTE is ridiculous. And you even doubled down “he’s been playing since he was 6”.
I have anger issues and you think the wtc were rigged with explosives and a missle hit the pentagon. You have bigger issues than me my man thinking everything is a conspiracy.

Here we go again,...
asking why people commit suicide was ignored because it's a stupid question.
But when it comes to NFL players... I think we've seen enough evidence that suicides are often linked to CTE... so no, it's not ridiculous to speculate.
Again, why it upsets you that a NFL player committing suicide could have a potential link to CTE is beyond me.... because you read about how his mom's death changed him?
So if I mentioned his mom dying first... and then said CTE is also possibility.... would that have made you less angry? lol.

Admittedly, when I searched for it all the descriptions were "catch of the year", so my expectations were probably set too high beforehand. But watching it, nice catch for sure, esp considering the context of when it happened, but some unreal catch of the year, like Odell Beckham or Justin Jefferson? Nah, I was honestly pretty letdown by that :lol

Fernando Mendoza actually came up on my radar a few days ago after never hearing about him, quickly rising as a potential top 5 pick in the next draft, maybe even #1 overall.
Fernando is my middle name so I'm rooting for him.

He was being pushed out of bounds and got both feet in ftw. lol Yea I guess you were lookin for some one handed back turned around with 3 defenders draped over him. But the margin of error with the toe taps were magnificent.
Patriots are for real.
Tyler Shough with a nice rookie debut for the Saints, 280 yards 2 TDs and a win over the 5-4 Panthers.
I believe he was yet another guy GOBB had a hearty laugh about being picked over Sanders.
When will we see Shadeur light up the league GOBB?

His rookie debut was vs the Rams. You knew that tho right? Like you didn’t conveniently wait for a “good” game vs a not so good panthers defense (but better than last year). Nah not you. You don’t even know why the 26yr old QB taken in rd 2 wasn’t a good pick. You just want to continue throwing parting shots at Sanders. Who is playing for a franchise known for developing QBs. Got it.
In order to evaluate a QB they must be given an opportunity. Kind of what happens in the NFL.
Anyway before being interrupted by dudes who don’t follow football much. Just want to selectively pick and choose arguments. The jaguars vs Texans game was yikes. 26pts in the 4th. And the Bills va Dolphins double yikes. Som ugly losses today.

Ah ok youre right. I thought last week was the week he replaced Rattler mid-game. I guess it was the week before.
But... he's still on the board with an NFL win. Just like Gabriel and Dart.
When's your boy Sanders gonna make his mark? :lol

Of course I’m right. You really couldn’t care less how well he is doing or Dart for that matter. Both could been buried behind qbs (hypothetically speaking) and you’ll still poke fun at Sanders. And again you show you don’t follow football. Or maybe you do and your persistence to rag on Sanders has you asking and making silly statements. 2nd rd picks are picks where you find starters. You rarely talk 2nd rd picks with the notion they are projects. Do not and I repeat do not find rare moments where this doesn’t hold true. Maybe you will which will further expose your lack of football knowledge. Saints drafted a QB in rd 2 mean there is someone really HIGH on that player. And will look for an opportunity or not hesitate to put them in as a starter soon. The case with Tyler. Rattler was given a chance unlike Sanders. He flamed out and in comes a rookie Kellen Moore likes. Much like Daboll did Dart. First and 2nd rd are key draft picks moreso any other round. Everything is situational. Sanders would literally have to look like Tom Brady, Mahommes for Clev to justify playing him over Gabriel even tho Sanders is injured. If he were completely healthy Gabriel would still be given a chance given his draft spot until he looked like Spencer Rattler and then and only then would Sanders be giving a shot. If Sanders was drafted earlier/ahead of Gabriel he would be the starting QB injury withstanding. Follow? Probably not becuase you really don’t care to use logic here. You just want to throw shots at sanders. If Sanders were given the job and had a rookie debut like Tyler did? You’d be here tagging me and snickering.
Carry on tho
So we not going to give Treyvon Henderson his flowers today? And his one TD run late where he looked over at coaches to see if he should just score or take a dive. What a baller

That was pretty cool to see.
Pats could realistically finish 15-2, 14-3.

Actually I'm not really ragging on Sanders so much as ragging on you for panning everyone taken ahead of him. Altho I wasnt really surprised it came out he acted like an entitled clown in the run up to the draft, and it's true I'm not really inclined to root for him because of it, but mainly I'm just givin you the business for acting like it would be each team's biggest regret not to draft him. And now look, three of the guys drafted ahead of him lookin good in the early sample sizes, and Sanders is running the scout team. LOL.
And you'll try to point to the team records to suggest those guys arent playing well for rookies, which will only serve to show YOU arent watching the games.
