This is why some Conservatives are insufferable. Even when provided with facts they simply refuse to believe them. Fake news has become a brain disease.

Vance Boelter holds conservative, right-leaning political views, including strong opposition to abortion and LGBTQ+ rights, according to accounts from his friends and a review of his writings and sermons.
Details on his political leanings:
Political affiliation Friends have stated that Boelter was a supporter of Donald Trump who voted for him in the 2024 election. Voter registration records show he registered as a Republican in Oklahoma in 2004, though Minnesota voter rolls do not list party affiliation.
Targeting of Democrats Law enforcement reports indicate that the individuals Boelter is accused of targeting were almost all Democrats. A list of approximately 70 targets, including elected officials and abortion providers, was found in his possession.

why it didn't have the impact of kirk? Because the slaying wasn't caught on camera.
Video footage is powerful. Again, thousands are murdered dead every year in the us, but it isn't real until you see it live being stabbed on a bus. But all of them are real.
WHATABOUTism!!!!
Tbf Kirk was far more known than she was, so it would've been a bigger story regardless. But you're 1000% right, having it caught on camera makes all the difference. George Floyd doesn't become the incident it does if it isn't caught on camera, ditto that woman in Charlotte.
Hortman was an actual law changing politician though. It was a REAL political assassination.
Kirk was a media personality, yes he had more fame and like 1000x more tweets about him. But he was less meaningful than her in terms of politics because she could actually change things.
WHATABOUTism!!!!
I'm not using it to distract from Kirk that is impossible, I am using it to point out that the difference is VIDEO FOOTAGE.
But also yeah, the assassination of Hortman by a MAGA cultist does spit in the face of all the "libs are demons" posts. So yeah I'll do some whataboutism with it. What about Hortman? Forgot about that one didn't you?
Any of us, who actually go outside and converse with other humans, know people on both sides of the spectrum and know both sides are fully capable of having crazy f@#ks. If you ONLY know conservatives? Or ONLY know libs? You are a sheltered dude.
WHATABOUTism!!!!
You're clearly deflecting to her by bringing up that situation. Youre implying "what about her!!!"

yeah okay, f@3k it

It didn't have the impact of Charlie Kirk because no one on the left cared for Melissa Hortman like people on the right does for Kirk. No one in Minnesota made a stink out it being due to politics that relate to Trump and the guy himself says it had nothing to do with it either, so it all just kind of died down same as the thread here on ISH that you or Overdrive never cared to post in.

So yeah, you didn't care about her to post about her when she was killed, but you have TDS and so when we post about Kirk you can't help yourself to come in over and over to try and tell us how he's actually not important at all.

It's not about being important. It's about baller among others calling leftists demons, because a rightwinger was killed and not everyone is shedding tears about it. It's just showing that he's the same. Why should anyone be sad over some stranger dying if there's no connection?
Was the killing justified? No. But do I have to act like I'm touched by some random hate spewing youtube person being killed? Dehumanizing the political opposition is a common tactic by radicals. I just wanted to show that the reasons for being called a "demon" can just be used on baller et al aswell.
Lmao.
They finally catch the killer, who was CLEARLY and OBVIOUSLY left wing, spouted LEFT WING rhetoric, HATED Kirk and labelled him a FASCIST...
and these desperate libs are hoping and praying that if they call him a conservative enough time people will believe it.

RRR3 is an extreme version of leftism. My opinions aren't his. TheMan is closer to a moderate conservative than a leftist. I have my own opinions and I posted such in the Zarutska thread. You yourself called leftists demons in general.
Here's a leftist for you:

Tons of leftists have been celebrating his assassination, showing happiness that he's dead. It's even in one of the videos of Charlie being shot, a guy openly celebrating just a few seconds after it's happened.
I'd be sad if someone assassinated e.g Cortez, because it's a horrible place for politics to go when people are killed for their opinion. Most people on the right share this opinion and always remind each other that it's the party of law and order and it's why no none ever tried to kill Obama, Joe or Hillary etc.
It's not the same on the left, where young people has now tried to kill Trump and successfully killed another guy who was very high up and was running a political organization towards youths.

It didn't have the impact for the exact reason I said.
If Hortman had her head blown off live on TV and all over social media then the outrage would be there.
The Ukrainian on the bus being stabbed would be completely unknown without the footage.
The footage is everything.
So Robinson grew up with MAGA parents who raised him shooting AR15s
Guess they didn't know they were raising a monster.

magas, to this day, continue to threaten leftist. even before charlie's passing, people like patrickchewing threatened to kill liberals on sight. they laughed and encourage the idea of feeding live detainees to alligators, they created and shared inappropriate memes about george floyd's death.

I can guarantee you that the right would still be going absolutely crazy had Charlie Kirk been assassinated off camera. Same thing if you killed Vance, Elon or Tucker.

Those people have fame, Hortman didn't. But it would still be much less impactful without the footage.
And this slaying will be old news in a couple weeks. "Outrage" doesn't last long in this country. Trump's assassination was forgotten pretty quickly, and every school shooting becomes an afterthought within a couple weeks. Until the next one.
I had seen CK on YouTube shorts lots of times and had seen him occasionally but I didn't realize how influential he was among younger people. They say he was part of the reason Republicans have made gains with the youth. So this just wasn't an attack on the opposition(I'm assuming it was by someone on the left), it was a tactical strike that might have a big impact 5-10 years down the road. Where else are the Republicans going to find a giant 6'6 personality like Charlie Kirk any time soon?
Trump is a much, much more flawed and aggressive human being than Charlie Kirk so it's surprising that it seemed much less people celebrated him getting shot than Charlie Kirk. I don't remember as many people being happy Trump got shot like CK. The level of CK celebration was somewhere between Trump and the UnitedHealthcare CEO I'd say
Gavin Newsome talking about his son's admiration of Charlie Kirk during their interview

well yeah, bc most magas look towards these handful of people for guidance, unlike liberals that are able to think for themselves and don't need to look at any one person for guidance.
Those people have fame, Hortman didn't.

Yes that's what I said a few posts back, people on the right really liked Charlie, while Hortman was a relative nobody on the left outside of minny.
The Hortman case has the doorbell footage of the killer in the police outfit and mask which could've more famous, but when the killer himself says the murder isn't political and no one else is really saying otherwise, it dies down by itself.

Kirk had potential as a presidential candidate 20 years from now had things somewhat kept going like they were.
Okay so with NO footage, yes more outrage for Kirk because of his fame. But Hortman gets her head blown off live on TV in front of a crowd? The outrage is there for her.
The Ukrainian on the bus being stabbed was a 100% nobody, and her outrage is there 100% because of the footage.
well yeah, bc most magas look towards these handful of people for guidance, unlike liberals that are able to think for themselves and don't need to look at any one person for guidance.
Are you telling me that millions upon millions of liberals all decided upon themselves, without any guidance or indoctrination, that a man could become pregnant or that a woman could have a c0ck and balls??
If so that would really say a lot about the average liberal. :oldlol:
I do not think Kirk had any chance of being anything substantial in politics. Now that he is a political martyr? People will place him way higher on a pedestal than what the reality is. And the reality is that he was in the same vein as Tim Pool, a media personality that throws out extreme opinions and gets attention for those extreme opinions.

This is half right.
I don't think he had serious potential as a presidential nominee. He was a great organizer, and a good enough communicator, but being president requires a little more experience than that. Personally I would not have ever considered voting for him. Not unless the field was extremely weak.
BUT, he was definitely more influential than Tim Pool. Kirk managed to win over the dude bros and normie chicks, which is a very important demographic. He made right wing politics cool for mainstream America. Everyone I know saw his videos to some degree. I definitely don't think they all know who Tim Pool is. Kirk is up there with Shapiro in terms of influence and importance, and honestly I think he surpassed Shapiro because he's more laid back and relatable.
Very few of Kirk's opinions are extreme, if any. You can take sentences out of context all you want. He was not violent, never preached violence and only ever asked for open and honest debate. This is why I keep saying you weirdos are just redpilling more normies. So many people that had no idea who Kirk was are now watching his videos and seeing he was a normal guy with pretty rational views.
- No men in women's sports or women's bathrooms
- It's okay to love your country.
- There's nothing to be ashamed of if you're white.
- Everyone has a god given right to be able to defend themselves.
These are not extremist opinions. These are all things that democrats from 20 years ago would stand by and applaud.
YOU guys have moved further left. YOU guys have gotten more extreme. When extremism takes hold the normal and rational people in the center become the villain. As Kirk has.
Don't you see which way the wind is blowing? Do you not realize how much ground is being lost on the left? Just a few short years ago you held all the levers of power. You had the presidency, the house, the senate, all the major institutions, social media, Hollywood, you guys were in control of the culture. Fast forward just a few short years and now you're on the extreme defensive. Your party is in shambles and the right is soundly ahead in the culture war. You can keep pretending Kirk was an extremist all you want, but extremists aren't being honored by the NY Yankees or having the NFL hold a moment of silence in his honor. This guy was normie mainstream America. He was only a villain to the extremist fringe.
Eventually you're gonna have to come to grips that you've been wrong about everything.
