Better as in becoming successful adults in every aspect. Also to become better people in terms of attitude.

thanks h-aid. i must take this opportunity to say that you bring a positive vibe to ish that many appreciate-- including myself
ironically, i believe that one can better him/herself by not focusing on oneself, but others. the paradox is: the more we are selfless, the more we find ourselves
the more selfish one is, the more lonely and lost one can be
my experience is that many of the young people these days are realizing this in ways that have eluded gen x. i am hopeful for a new ethos that they will bring to society

i view "success" differently than most folks as you can imagine. its not about the material things but the relational
one guiding principle: what kind of care does one give others?
my turn on the "hot seat" (it has actually only felt "lukewarm and not hot at all) has been a bit erratic this weekend as i havent been around much.
i leave it to "the myth" to judge whether my time is up of to extend it into monday as was mentioned earlier.
