You still have a shot down 13. Wade scored & assisted on 13 of the Heat's 15 points to open up the 4th and the lead went from 13 to 25. That's the game.

Their spirits were completely destroyed. Outside of Lebron going off, the Heat were also absolutely swarming on defense in a slow-paced game. I think the Celtics scored 35 points in the second half.

They weren't coming back, and Wade getting some assisted buckets in the flow of the game against a demoralized team knowing that a guy on the other side is destroying them is not a closure. I'm pretty sure Lebron made his first two shots early in the 4th too.

But the game was closed before that and you know it. Or you don't, in which case there isn't much more to discuss. But it seems like you're arguing just to argue.

I wasn't responding to you in the first place. If you think a 13-point lead is insurmountable at home, (especially for a team as experienced as the '12 Celtics, who had just won 3 straight) then so be it.

When you've scored 16 and 18 in 2 of the 3 quarters thus far..and the other team has a guy who is continuing to not miss shots? Insurmountable? Maybe not. Was the Boston Garden no longer the advantage it was previously? No, they had the energy sucked out of them too. Where the Heat going to win regardless of if Wade makes a couple assisted buckets to start the 4th? Yea...I think you know they were.

You cherry-pick these possessions so aggressively that I'm certain you're intentionally not being fair. I actually just looked over the game 7 4th quarter play-by-play. The Heat were down 1 with 9:07 left and over the next 4 minutes Lebron scored 10 and assisted a Bosh 3 to get them up 7, a lead that would balloon from there. In that play-by-play...if you were to switch L. James with either C. Bosh or D. Wade I am absolutely positive that you would be talking about how those two scored/assisted the crucial buckets of the game and Lebron stat-padded once it was over. ABSOLUTELY positive...

Never been more sure of anything in my entire time here.

I have no doubt in mind that Lebron would have dropped 60/20/7 if it was a close game the entire way.
