There's a really cute sophmore in my biology class and we sit next to each other but it's almost impossible to get a conversation going(besides can I borrow a pen etc) because we have to follow the teacher along while looking at our iPads. Also, the group she hangs out with at lunch/off periods consists of sophmore/junior girls who basically surround her. And I don't know any of them cause they're a grade or 2 older than me. And she's not the type of girl to be impressed just because I play sports and a musical instrument. What do I do? :( . Inb4 20 troll posts and 2 posts with real advice.

gotta just start a conversation... girls are impressed with confidence. just start a conversation and make sure you are able to keep it going.


don't just start a conversation that ends in 30 seconds.... then you make sure it ends on a good note.

then make her laugh... dont f*ck that part up and make a weird joke though.

then you just have to try to talk to her in class for a little while and then move on to talking to her in he cliche...

if she doesn't talk to you after that then you f*cked up.


if you do it right then she will like you, but if you start a flawless converstion and make her really laugh then you got her in the bear trap and she is yours for the taking.

It starts with you, you gotta spark something. Kinda like LBJMVP said, but it doesn't have to be conversation. Can't talk in class? Pass notes. I did that plenty in high-school, trust me, you put something funny or sweet on that note, you're in. Just don't be creepy SPK.

Try catching her on your way to class, strike up a conversation on the way so that when you get in class & can't really talk the "seed" has been planted for that day. While in class try to make a few clever comment (don't over due it) that might make her laugh. Show off your personality & just be yourself.

Be confident, even if you the most insecure person in the world the key is to never let them know that (at least not at first) women love confidence.

Just don't rush it, if you have a class with her every day then you're golden. Make a habit of having a relaxed/fun convo with her before class & when given the moments in class.

She'll start looking forward to that class, and once that happens it'll be easy from there.

Don't be overly flirty though, just enough to let her know that you've noticed her, but you're not sure if she's worth the effort (even if she is)
