What's Hornacek's role in the organization?
He was brought on as a shooting coach. He didnt travel with the team and only worked with them in the off season.(helped ak with his shot) Rumor has it that he will be on the coaching staff as an assistant.
I think AK was one of the players who met with Sloan and the coaching staff after last night's game.
Yeah I read he was the last to leave.
Lotta BS here. Nobody just signs an extension for a year and then suddenly resign from his post. There was definitely something that was brewing within the team and the organization and it finally reached its boiling point.
Just read an article on ESPN that he and Deron haven't been getting along lately.
But seriously, for dude to sign the extension two days ago then just say f*ck it im outa here something must have went down. Seriously. If he was just tired of coaching he would have stuck it out for the rest of the year. Something must have happened.
Why is D-Wil being blamed when they are saying no one pushed Jerry out?
Sources say Sloan had lost team. One described situation as Deron Williams only staying if Sloan stepped down.
You can tell by Sloan's demeanor and tone that there's more to this.
When will the Utah Jazz coaching revolving door end? This team needs some stability.
Well done sir, well done. :applause:
:D
I'm starting to dislike Deron williams immensely, the interviews where he sounded liked a prima donna and now this.
Yeah I read he was the last to leave.
I'm think it was more of a last good bye thing but who knows.
Pretty sure AK and Sloan are really tight.
AK was seen leaving the coaches room after the Bulls game yesterday, he was the only player who was let in there. I'm pretty sure he was told yesterday by Sloan he was leaving.

Sloan always signs the extension and then makes up his mind if he's returning in the off-season. His extension was signed over a month ago but was only just announced recently.
If Sloan lost the players there's really nothing that can be done. Easier to replace a coach then the entire team.
Wonder if Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis will turn out like Jerry and Phil
