Aaaand the shooter succeeds at disarming a populace.

Just not the American population he was hoping for. (yet)
Ehhh new zealand isn't the states. They have a good thing going with their social fabric they don't have the same violence it's peaceful and people get along.
It's not like disarming someone where the crime rate is high. If you have thugs and crackheads in your neighborhood and you can't afford to move then it should be a right to have a gun...
Why are you guys giving chewing the time of day? :biggums: he will be the most active poster in my yearly Ramadan thread, book it.
It's good sport slapping him around.
He's not very intelligent so he's good to keep around. Same reason why you keep a dog around or why thin girls keep a fat girl around.
Agreed. No doubt that fatrick chewing will be the most active in the ramadan thread.
You better hope Islam doesn't grow any bigger. Christians tolerate atheists. Islam is supposed to tolerate Christians and Jews. But atheists are about as bad as you can get to a Muslim. Say there is no God in the land of Muslims and you are a dead man walking. While there are only 13 Muslim countries that officially give the death penalty to atheists, there are a lot more that carry out tribal justice that goes unpunished. About the only thing worse than an atheist to a Muslim is a Muslim that renounces his religion.
I understand your point, and I appreciate it. It does seem that Islam is the worst of all the world's major religious institutions... for several reasons. But I don't want to harp on that point.
I'm not an atheist. I'm not agnostic either. I believe in God, but I do not define my perception of God by the boundaries of any established religion.
Re: A guy in NZ just live streamed himself shooting up a mosque
No, radical Islam is definitely a different animal. I don't think they are the same. But they both need to go.
It's not "radical" if you have entire nations and regions condoning and perpetrating this behavior

Try being a gay atheist in an Islamic country :lol

True.
I was simply adopting that terminology because I was responding to a guy using it.
I guess I could drop the word 'radical' and just say: no I don't think Islam and Christianity are the same. Yes, I believe Islam is worse... and for several reasons. I still stand by my original statement... the major religious institutions of the world... they all need to die. Not the people. The ideas.

I was going to make a thread, but it's no use. Glad the Caliphate intent on world domination and intent on converting everyone over to Islam is no more.
How far did they spread in eight years?? One or two countries?? :oldlol:

I guess ISIS really was the JV team :lol
Al Qaeda was a more formidable opponent until they got their shit pushed in eventually :applause:
Onward, Christian soldiers!

Through Christ, all things are possible.

Not even children are foolish enough to believe this and not even fools are arrogant enough to think they can even make this claim.
Do you even know the contents of the Holy Qu'ran?
Within them are answers for the following:
- Who is God?
- What is God "like"?
- What is man and God's relationship supposed to be like?
- What happens after we die?
- Our personal accountability for our actions and words in the Hereafter.
- The mission of the Prophets (PBUH) of before times.
- What is right, what is wrong?
- What constitutes righteousness?
- What constitutes wickedness?
- Why were previous civilizations like Egypt/Babylon destroyed?
- The equality of man.
- How children should treat parents
- How the rich should contribute to helping the poor.
- What the purpose of life is?
- The nature of the life of this world.
- Justice
etc. etc.
and many, many more.
For starters you'd have to understand the depths of both faiths. The condition of mankind before and after the communities of Jesus (PBUH) and Muhammad (PBUH). The civilizing aspect of both---religion in general has been linked with prosperous communities since the beginning--collective worship. The effect it has on the peace and happiness of the human heart. The effect it has on human families. The effect it has on human charities. The effect it has on the solidarity and organization of so many humans.
The effects it has on the afterlife. And many, many more.
Or better yet look at the lives of people who turn to religion on the individual, worldly scale.
Even "secular humanism" borrows/steals/uses/aligns a portion of it's good from Christianity/Islam...…

Okay. You, TheMan, and Chewing believe you are wiser than God now.
At least you may have a few decades to rethink that.
The following are Bible verses stressing the importance of submission to God's Will.
Islam TRANSLATES to submission to God's Will.
Psalm 40:8
Verse Concepts
I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart."
Psalm 143:10
Verse Concepts
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Matthew 6:10
Verse Concepts
'Your kingdom come Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 12:50
Verse Concepts
"For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother."
Romans 12:2
Verse Concepts
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
John 5:30
Verse Concepts
"I can do nothing on My own initiative As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

3:19 Mohsin Khan: Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account
.

Cheering violently for men on horses and steel armor out there slaughtering people in the Holy Land in a thread shortly after 49 were shot and mowed down while praying to God.
Are you comfortable with this on your record on the Day of Judgment, Patrick?
Is this really the behavior that Jesus would have endorsed?
