Re: NFL Season 2025
Curious why the Bills kicked the FG down 7 with 5 minutes left. That FG does nothing for you. Should've gone for it there.
Funny how the missed PAT ended up being the difference. I'll always advocate for kickers saying the team could've done more throughout the game, but his missed PAT changed the whole complexity of the game.

You have to kick the field goal there, you're not converting 4th & 10. Cut it to a 4 point game, win the game with a touchdown. Going for it there would've been insanely idiotic.

Colts punching on Chiefs. Big win if they pull it off, chiefs are officially done. Go Pat Go!
Winston is just a winner. Got Giants over the Lions so far

lol, what? :oldlol:
Bucs never won anything with him until Brady took over. Has a 36-52 record as a starter.

Det NYG headed to OT
Indy KC headed to OT
Solid football Sunday thus far.

Re: NFL Season 2025
It looked like the Colts were going to cruise to an easy W.

Daniel Jones turned into NYG Jones at the end. Indy tricked this game off.

He was so bad, if the Colts offense does literally anything on those last 4 drives they probably win. I'll be curious to see how he bounces back from this.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
And the Giants blew their 5th double digit lead of the season, I believe that's 3 times they were at 90% to win in the 4th and lost.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Not sure the last time I saw that. In the red zone the Browns called Sanders the QB completely off the field onto the sideline and did a direct snap to the RB/FB with no QB on the field.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Jaxon SNJ is a bona fide MVP candidate.
Having a monster year. And it's not like anyone else on the Seattle offense is particularly special. Theyre 8-3 on the strength of a pretty good defense and a beast receiver.
Put this dude in the convo.

Re: NFL Season 2025
Sanders there a god awful int. Stared down the WR and got baited. Yikes

Yeah it was painful to watch. Now is not the time for Daniel Jones to be turning into a damn pumpkin.

Re: NFL Season 2025
Jerry Jeudy fumbling is a typical Browns play. Cardinals are beating Jags which WOULD HELP KC. I don’t want to label him a bust but a huge disappointment on the road to being a bust Trevor Lawrence is. Generational? I can’t tell.

I'm stunned they went for that. The way their defense has played in the second half, to not secure the guaranteed lead right there is legitimately one of the worst coaching decisions I can recall in some time.

Welp, defense got em another shot, some nice Dak plays and the kicker to finish off the comeback.
Playoff journey on after all?

I'm trying to think of a RB who has had a bad of a season following rushing for 2,000 the season prior and I can't.
3.7 yards per carry with under 700 rushing yards through 11 games.
NFC isn't that strong and I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles made the super bowl, but like I said last week, they have regressed as a team compared to last season.

I mean today helps but mathematically theyre still a long shot.
Cowboys are now 5-5-1. For context, because division winners get automatic bids, the 7-4 Detroit Lions are currently on the OUTSIDE looking in at a wild card. So the Cowboys are way out.
Even with today's win theyre still 3 games back of the Eagles for the division. So thats not a realistic path. Theyll likely have to get a wild card and like I said, they havent got the inside track for that either.
Remaining schedule includes Chiefs, Lions, Chargers, Redskins, Vikings and Giants. Theyre gonna have to win at LEAST four of those six, probably five. It *could* even require six depending on what other teams do.
I mean today gives them a shot. A loss would have pretty much closed the door. They have a chance now but not a good one.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Stafford has to be the MVP favorite at the moment.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
^ Actually even 4 of their next 6 almost certainly wont cut it.
Theyre gonna need 5 of 6 minimum to have a shot. And that may not even do it.
So it's gonna take a major run.

So you can’t explain Barkely season outside of stats this season compared to last? Serious question.

Madden cover curse is the explanation.

Re: NFL Season 2025
Shit...a lot to unpack here. I'll do it succinctly:
- Rams are the best team in football
- Chiefs are annoying and will probably be in the Super Bowl again
- The Seahawks are the only reason the Rams won't be in the Super Bowl but I don't trust Sam Darnold
- The Eagles are weird and could muck shit up for the teams described above
'Bout sums it up.
Oh, and the Lions are ass unfortunately. No shot for them.

Chiefs are not making the playoffs. What’s with them getting so much benefit of the doubt? Not only from fans but sports media. I don’t get it. Eagles lost a tough one today and the offensive playcalling is that of a HS football team. I don’t get it. Best team is still up for grabs. Not sure one team stands out at all.

Re: NFL Season 2025
Myles Garrett should shatter the sack record. Browns had like 10 sacks today 3 coming from him. What a monster

It's pretty clearly the Rams that stand out. Their 2 losses came on the final play of the game & in OT, 5 of their last 6 wins have come by 14 points or more, they have by a clear margin the best MOV in football, and their QB is probably the MVP front runner right now.
Things can obv change, but the Rams look like the only team playing at an elite level right now.

Raiders just fired OC Chip Kelly
Time to put Pete Carroll in a nursing home after the season is over too.

Who have they beaten? Jags? Titans? Saints? Come on. Lost to eagles and split with niners. Best a ravens team without Lamar. Kudos but. I’m not seeing what you are seeing. I don’t see a clear cut best team. And if you’re the best team it shouldn’t change over night to you not being the best. Which further leads into my point that there’s really no clear cut team. Teams have had moments of being the “best” or their QB being “mvp”. See colts. Bye colts/and Daniel jones. Hey if you feel rams are the best team that’s fine. But if in 2-3 weeks we are sitting here saying another team is. Don’t say I told you so.
