Sexton/George/Talen Horton Tucker/Dunn(non guarantee)
Agbaji/The Bum/Langford(Exhibit 10)
Lauri/Simone/Sensabaugh/Juzang(2 way)/Hauser(2 way)Kinsey (Exhibit 10)
Collins/Olynyk/Hendricks/Samanic(partial guarantee)/Potter(2 way)

2 exhibit 10 (Kinsey and Langford)they can have 6 unless that changed with the new deal?
20 camp spots filled. 1 more for camp. The exhibit 10 guys aren't always in camp so they could still sign a couple more guys.
The Utah Jazz have signed guard Taevion Kinsey (tay-VEE-on), guard/forward Romeo Langford, and center Nick Ongenda (on-GEN-duh). Per team policy, terms of the deals were not released. Kinsey (6-5, 190, Marshall) played five seasons at Marshall (2018-23), appearing in 154 games (130 starts), owning averages of 17.1 points on 50.7 percent from the field, along with 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals in 34.1 minutes per contest and left the school as its all-time leading scorer with 2,641 points. He was named the 2022-23 Sun Belt Player of the Year following his final college season, with averages of 22.1 points, 5.4 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.7 steals in 32 games (all starts), and was also named to the 2022-23 All-Sun Belt First Team. He competed for the Utah entries at 2023 Salt Lake City Summer League and NBA 2K24 Summer League.

If all these guys are officially signed than camp is full barring a last minute trade which I think could happen. I'd guess they won't be officially signed until later when some guys are cut from camp. Could still have at least 3 more Exhibit 10's. Also tells me Potter was never resigned as keeps getting reported despite never seeing anything official and these guys could be fighting for the final two way spot? Langford might not be eligible but obviously with 3 partial/non guarantees there is room to make the roster
Sexton/George/Talen Horton Tucker/Dunn(non guarantee)
Agbaji/The Bum/Langford(Exhibit 10)
Lauri/Simone/Sensabaugh/Juzang(2 way)/Hauser(2 way)Kinsey (Exhibit 10)

Kessler/Yurtseven(partial guarantee-camp contract maybe?)/Ongenda(Exhibit 10)
12 guaranteed(2 or 3 more)/2 two-way
1 non guarantee(Dunn)
2 partial (Samanic/Yurtseven)
3 exhibit 10 (assuming Ongenda is?)they can have 6 unless that changed with the new deal?
20 camp spots filled. (The exhibit 10 guys aren't always in camp so they could still sign a couple more guys and maybe Potter is signed though I'd guess Ongenda may have replaced him?)

He was huge last year in the Euro championships. Arguably the worst player on the Jazz last year outside The Bum of course. Who is sitting so he can play? He only played because of the trades. Samanic looked better
https://saltcityhoops.com/which-x-factor-can-lead-the-jazz-to-the-playoffs/
The Bum getting hurt or traded
Last season, after the Jazz traded away Mike Conley, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Malik Beasley, the Jazz finished the season with a 10-17 record. Over a full season that would be about a 30-win pace. During the majority of that stretch though, Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton also missed time. With those two guards healthy, coupled with the addition of John Collins and the three rookies, does that add 12-plus wins to last spring’s 30-win pace get the Jazz over .500 for the year?
The Bum sucks and Sexton has yet to show he can stay healthy
An important thing to remember about Collins that is often forgotten is that he will only be turning 26 years old on September 23. This isn’t projecting a 32-year-old to play like his 28-year-old self. John Collins should be entering his prime, and a potential Kessler, Collins, Markkanen front court could pose some major problems for opposing teams. They can have massive size, while still maintaining shooting across four positions with Kessler anchoring the defense.
D has been their problem and I still have a hard time thinking playing big is the answer
I can envision Ochai becoming the souped up version of what Royce O’Neale was for this team. Defend the best wing scorer on the other team, and move off-ball and knock down threes at a high-level on the other side. Ochai is taller than O’Neale, more athletic, and a much better shooter though. If he can become the player he’s capable of being sooner rather than later, he could be a major x-factor in helping the Jazz make the playoffs.
bit early to say he's a better shooter
https://thejnotes.com/2023/09/11/finally-a-trade-suggestion-that-the-utah-jazz-should-consider-making/
He has suggested that the Utah Jazz trade Kelly Olynyk and Talen Horton-Tucker for Dinwiddie. Trading Horton-Tucker makes all the sense in the world, but if there’s a way to not trade Olynyk, I think the Jazz should pursue that option.
you've got 2 rookie front court players that are going to need time eventually. Someone will have to go. Not sure how Dinwiddle fits. Need a 2
https://thejnotes.com/2023/09/11/the-utah-jazz-may-be-one-of-the-deeper-teams-in-the-nba/
The team does have holes, but they’re not exactly limited. Look at the point guard position, you could do worse than Jordan Clarkson or Collin Sexton taking over the role. And if you want a more traditional type, then you have Kris Dunn. Not an All-Star caliber crop of guys, but all three could be starters for a majority of the NBA’s teams.
actually hard to imagine you could have a worse pg than one that dribbles and throws up bad shots while not even seeing the other 4 guys on his team :facepalm
Look at two guys who are coming off the bench in Simone Fontecchio and Kelly Olynyk. They were the star or featured players on their respective FIBA World Cup teams. Fontecchio got Team Italy to the quarter-finals and Olynyk allowed Team Canada to use different lineups simply due to his versatility.
Simone was probably their worst player that wasn't The Bum last year
And those are guys who are, in Fontecchio’s case, going to be competing for minutes and Olynyk’s case, going to be coming off the bench possibly as a sixth-man type.
Sexton, The Bum and possibly George are 6th men types not Olynyk
big questions at the 2. Not what I call deep
John Hollinger: Neemias Queta is still two-way eligible and would make sense on a great many rosters.

Utah connection too
https://saltcityhoops.com/can-collin-sexton-be-the-guy-to-run-the-show/
No doubt in my mind. He learned a lot from Conley. His health is the concern with him
Yet, the Jazz were only 6-9 in his 15 starts and clearly missed a more traditional offensive initiator. With him simply in rotation, the Jazz were average and a .500 team with a 24-24 win, loss record.
He didn't have as good of a team around him once he was starting. Simone and Talen were on the bench before the trades
Sexton is clearly the best shooter of the Jazz’s options at the point position. He can keep the floor spaced for all the bigs and knows how to get a bucket. With the bigs being a focal point this upcoming season, spacing will be important. If Jordan Clarkson pops off the bench in a 6th man role, Sexton’s shooting will be crucial alongside Ochai Agbaji. If JC starts, the backcourt partnership could be fire and give the Jazz a lethal starting five.
whenever The Bum plays it will be ugly
Yet, Sexton is a score-first guy, going back to his ‘Bama roots and the way he played in Cleveland. John Keeffer of Salt City Hoops pointed out that his assist-to-usage rate percentage has been in the bottom 30 percent for his position since entering the NBA. In fact, Keef notes that in the two seasons that Sexton averaged over 20 points per game for the Cavs, their Offensive Rating ranked 26th and 28th in the NBA, and they finished a combined 41-96.
was fine last year. Conley schooled him well
My bet? He starts game one for the 2023-2024 season, but not in 2028.
probably be George after the deadline
https://thejnotes.com/2023/09/12/cameron-payne-will-open-market-soon-utah-jazz-pick/
A timeshare of Payne and Kris Dunn at the point would allow the Jazz to bring Keyonte George along at a reasonable pace in Year 1.
after what we saw in summer league? Why? Sexton starts. George backup unless Sexton is moved
Cameron Payne has shown good defensive prowess at times with Phoenix and is a more natural fit at point guard than Jordan Clarkson or Collin Sexton, who are both combo guards that are best utilized for their scoring.
wouldn't you have to pass occasionally to be a combo guard?
They have 4 pg's. They aren't going after Payne
https://thejnotes.com/2023/09/15/3-nba-players-utah-jazz-need-keep-eye/2/
Now, he’s not just coming today, but should the Jazz find out that the likes of Kris Dunn and Collin Sexton aren’t cutting it, then you could make a case for Payton, who historically is a solid passer and a very good defender. He could also be an option if you end up trading guys like Dunn, Talen Horton-Tucker, and maybe someone like Sexton or Jordan Clarkson. Whether those players get traded for future prospects or draft picks, or as part of a larger trade to land a major player at some point this season; Payton could come in and be a big addition to the club.
Dunn and Sexton are better and George will be. Also Talen is pretty unique
[h=2]Danilo Gallinari[/h]
need another old 6'10 guy?
A strong, defensive-minded wing could help you with that. He’s drawing some interest from other teams ever since he got released by the San Antonio Spurs, following a trade from the Cavaliers, but if he’s still available later in the year, the Jazz would be wise to look into his talents.
a wing/SG they can use especially once The Bum is jettisoned
https://thejnotes.com/2023/09/15/what-players-should-make-the-utah-jazzs-bench-rotation/
So which one is it? Well, we’re not sure, but we’ll find out soon enough. One of the things that will help us decide if this team can compete or if they’re going to fail is their lineups and how deep this team truly is. The lineup isn’t set in stone yet, so the rotation isn’t figured out yet either, but for the sake of the article, let’s assume the starting lineup is Kris Dunn, Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, and Walker Kessler.
why would we assume Dunn is starting? He maybe should but I'd be surprised if it's not Sexton with George behind him. Hopefully Agbaji at the 2
Dunn makes the lineup due to his defense and passing, as he’s the only point guard on the team that specializes in that. Everyone else is starting because they’re the best players at their positions on the team.
The Bum is the worst player in the league for my money
This is where it gets tricky, as Taylor Hendricks, Brice Sensabaugh, and Keyonte George all should get minutes, but then you have guys like Luka Samanic, Ochai Agbaji, Simone Fontecchio, Talen Horton-Tucker and Johnny Juzang who have all something to offer.
Simone, Talen weren't playing until after the trade deadline so they are probably out. Simone was probably their worst player except The Bum. Taylor and Brice shouldn't get minutes unless they earn it. Stars are there for a reason. George already showed something. I expect Hendricks will. We'll see. Samanic looks like a rotation piece too. Juzang is on a 2 way so he won't be a rotation player. Agbaji should start
Hendricks missed all off-season action and so his skills are not yet proven to be what they’re hyped up to be. Sensabaugh may not even be truly ready until the winter, and Agbajia, Horton-Tucker, and Juzang are just going to have to bide their time.
be shocked if Agbaji isn't playing
https://thejnotes.com/2023/09/16/did-the-utah-jazz-make-a-mistake-trading-jarred-vanderbilt/
He's worth that money. Ideally he'd be an energy guy coming off the Jazz bench though and that might be a tough sell
MacMahon mentions the Jazz will be players in the trade market, and it makes sense. Utah has so many rotation-level players that it doesn’t make sense to leave them on the bench all season. When you consider how many picks they’ll be making, over the next 10 years, they have to be active to continue upgrading at each position. If they don’t make trades and their draft picks supplant their starters, they’ll lose assets for nothing. That’s not something I could ever see Danny Ainge doing
