Do people believe Kobe's personality is contrived?

ummmm...no, don't know any "PaH"....and I got alot of "contrived" "Wolf's" all over the webz....



anyways....Kobe's personality comes alot from traveling around as a youth...he has had to "fit in" in other cultures.....99% of the population will never have to go through that on Kobe's level.

is he Fake?...IMO no he isn't....He wants to be the "best".....and he has put in the work....nothing fake about that.


Fake is just talking about something and never doing anything about it.

Kobe backs it up.......that's as real as it gets right there.

I think beneath the "toughness" Kobe is a kind, goodhearted, extremely [I]sensitive[/I] person. I think he has been so focused on basketball his whole life that he didn't stop to figure out who he is as a person. But I think beyond the scowls and the chin-flexes Kobe is a good guy.

as for being tough- in a basketball sense, I'd say he [I]is[/I] tough. In fact, he is one of the most fearless players in the league. Anyone who pulls down 15 rebounds in that brutal game 7 is tough in my book, no matter how many missed shots.

now, having said all that, Kobe is an overrated, inefficient chucker! :D

Kobe, ARod, Tiger are all fake personalities made to handle the media. These guys are as fake as boy bands and pop music. They are public relations and corporate creations. Only little kids and those who cannot see through the facade are fans of these guys.

Compare them to a guy like Nash who is just a normal dude, who is approachable, funny and laid back and you will understand the truth.

I think he has no personality. I think he borrows from everyone. I think he is a phony. I think he is one the greatest but a bit overrated.

I think Kobe doesn't like the media, or random people in general... and there is nothing wrong with that. However, after the rape allegations, he had to be more vocal to repair his image, and thus he created the public 'personality' you see today.


So, yes, the personality he displays to us through the media is fake, but it isn't his fault. If I was famous, I would have some fake as persona I pushed on the public too, because I can't stand the media or the average person either.

I just hate the over seriousness some of these dudes possess. I mean you play a fricking child's game for a living. This constant "I have to prove people wrong", "winning is the only thing that matters", "revenge for slighting me" BS is played out.

MJ, Kobe, Lebron, and Tiger all come across as taking themselves way too seriously IMO.

Like how in Air Time they show him taking time for his wife and kids trying to portray him as some great family man...when in reality he was cheating and having affairs affairs left and right
