i am still trying to figure how his own fans became fans of him
his game is overrated, he is actually one dimensional yes i said it all he can do right now is chuck up shots
he is cocky like hell ingame and trashtalks and throws cheapshots and fight other players
his game is extremly selfish and his teammates complain about his selfishness all the time, hell PHIL JACKSON made a book about kobes selfishness and how uncochable he is
then he is a criminal of the court raping other women
all his teammates hated him


lebron is a freakin saint compared to kobe
lebron is the most unselfish superstar
lebron never trashtalks he never fights he never is dirty throwing cheapshots
lebron never gets suspended
all teammates coaches and players love lebron because his game is unselfish and is a happy and funny guy
lebron has never done anything bad in his life
lebron has never done anything near BAD as kobe

Kobe's one of the most competitive guys in the league, and he takes the game seriously.
Don't think her's an asshole just because of what he did to Battier. Player's on court and off court behavior could be totally different. Just because he's a fierce competitor, doesn't mean he's an asshole off the court too.

Same thing goes for Kevin Garnett. He trash talks a lot on court, He's actually one of the nicest guys of the court.

Jesus christ dude....do you bust out into tears, and punch nearby walls during basketball games on television? Relax.

Yeah, sometimes. I do think Kobe overplays situations and occasionally comes off as an idiot. He also appears surprisingly insecure, which he shouldn't, since he's easily a top 15-20 player at worst. Then again, the media and the haters sometimes exaggerate Kobe's actions and point to his selfish, indecent ways when he's doing nothing wrong.

Watch his dunk contest what kind of person he was when he was a rookie. However his personality works for him that why he is the most successful player of this decade.

To me, Kobe comes off as dude who tries too hard sometimes. I think the reason his personality is oft criticized is because he has managed to create two completely separate characters. There's Black Mamba Kobe and then there's Cool Kobe. Black Mamba is like this steely, cold, lone gunslinger that says and does what he wants. I feel like that's what's showing when he does those post-game interviews peppered with unnecessary cursing. It's like "Yea, I'm Kobe Bryant...this is what I think and you can quote that". Then, he downplays it with Cool Kobe. That's the one when the Lakers are reeling, he just says "I'm not worried". You KNOW deep down you're worried. It just seems so forced. It also seems like he feigns his modesty and humor. Like in the post All Star game spots when he just acted like the MVP fell in his lap when it was obvious he was showing out for it from the onset. That, along with the "bikram yoga stretch" comment just seemed so...phony. I don't hate the guy at all. He's made mistakes, but seems like a good dude and is a hell of a basketball player. However, it seems like he tries to be something he's not. He can't be the brooding, tough guy scoring machine AND the mellowed guy because it makes both sides seem fake.

everyone's personality is contrived to a degree..I don't necessarily dislike someone for creating a persona that doesn't match their inner-most attitudes. if they're happier living their life that way then that's prerogative.

I don't like Kobe because his public image comes off as sort of an asshole.
