Can't speak for anyone else but I never said China didn't care, my whole argument was that China was in a better position to come out on top in a US vs China trade war, especially since Trump stupidly imposed heavy tariffs on the rest of the world, except Russia of course. Instead of having Japan, S Korea, Mexico, Canada, Germany and other big US trading partners present a united front vs China, Trump pisses them off and they strike new trade deals with the Chinese instead.
