Nice lazy analysis that removes all context.
Let me guess, next you will tell us Kobe > Lebron because he won 5 championships and Lebron won 4….
This is legit the same thing you are doing with….”he just wins!”. Put him on a garbo or even mediocre team that doesn’t have the best O line, running back, and receivers and let me know how that “all he does is win” works out.

Agreed. Push comes to shove I absolutely wouldn't trust him. But that team is so so good.
Sometimes mediocre quarterbacks win championships. Not often, but it happens and this seems like the kind of year where it would.

Re: NFL Season 2025
Never seen someone who was such a genius of an OC, but at the same time be a terrible head coach like Josh McDaniels.
Was the OC of that dominant 2007 Pats team.
Won 3 super bowls with Brady as OC
Mac Jones looked like a franchise QB in his rookie year with McDaniels, fell off a cliff when he left.
Helped transform Drake Maye and the Pats offense in his first season back in New England
Dude obviously knows his offense, but not much of a leader & people person as a head coach, which is why he failed.

You're giving him WAY too much credit for what he accomplished with Brady imo. In 2010 & 2011 when McDaniels wasn't there the Pats proceeded to score 500 points both years and Brady won MVP in 2010. Then Brady went to Tampa in his mid 40's and proceeded to average 30 ppg twice. When McDaniels was OC of the Rams in 2011 they literally finished last in ppg.
You'd really be basing this assertion off of one decent season with Mac Jones and a great sophomore campaign from Maye, who for all we know could've had this ascension without McDaniels there. It's speculative to just give him credit for a top 3 pick showing improvements as he gains more experience and game reps.

You can also look at what he did in 2008 when Brady missed the season, Pats still had a top 10 offense despite not having Brady, actually top 5 in yards. I also thought McDaniels did well considering what he had in 2020.

Tom Brady’s best attribute wasn’t quarterback sneaking.
If you are being objective the only positive things you can say about Jalen Hurt’s game is that he wins football games and is good at the quarterback sneak.
Lol.

Brady in the same sentence shoukd be sacrilegious to the game of

Re: NFL Season 2025
Looking at the early lines for next week, I'm genuinely puzzled at the Packers being 6.5 point favorites over a Bears team that's won 9 of it's last 10 games. That line seems at minimum 4 points too high.
Eagles being the road favorites vs the Chargers despite being in freefall is an interesting one too.

Odds makers being biased idiots is my best guess, I'll take those odds as a Bears fan, probably basing it on recent historical context where the Bears always shit the bed versus GB but these aren't those Bears nor the Packers are those Packers...not saying it's a guarantee win but I love our chances. The Bears were a blocked FG from sweeping GB last year and they are way better than last year's team just on coaching alone.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Packers are playing good too. Just beat Detroit a good team as well. And they are at home in Lambeau. I’m not seeing much of an issue at GB being favorites.

Oddsmakers aren't ever biased :lol
They're going to set the line as best they can so as to lose as little money as possible. GB at home playing great football? I would have probably called the line around -4.5 but 6.5 isn't crazy.

It seems like people haven't fully bought into the Bear yet. That was a good win on Friday but the Eagles are really struggling at the moment.

Carried who? You dudes just be talking nonsense. Who gives a f*ck about a tush push? If you think that’s what makes up Jalen Hurts you’re an idiot. Jalen literally outplayed Mahommes the greatest qb of all time (sarcasm) twice. “Defense carried him”. Now this bozo I mean you a so called eagles fan says the OL carried him. Then you got another jackass in here saying Barkley is washed. But no one mentions Chicago rushed for over 200yds early. 2 diff RBs had over 100yds. Jalen hurts fault because all he can do is qb sneak. Shut up and talk football with some sense or keep your mouths shut.

No clue what you’re talking about. I’ve already exposed the Eagles OL ain’t what it was from last season. Everyone knows if you have the trenches set (OL/DL) it can make life easier for everyone else. What successful QB didn’t need their OL? I’ll wait. So the idea Hurts OL carried him is hilarious. Imagine a world where Eagles win a SB and the next season are 8-4 and so called “fans” are complaining. Nut shit as we say here but you wouldn’t understand nahmean?

Theres been plenty of great QBs behind mediocre lines. What it comes down to is Hurts is not an elite passer, and he doesn't have Lamar or Vick speed. He is an incredible leader and better passer than Lamar at least.
Either way his game is extremely Oline dependant with that tush push. You act like its a nothing burger but eagles built tremendous success off that play when they won. Controlling time of possesion, keeping defense fresh, making everything a 4 and out instead of 3 and out.
The Oline is the catalyst to the offense.

Run off a list of great qbs behind mediocre OL that were successful. I like how you just conveniently miss that part of the post. You’re the one who said the OL carried Hurts. When Eagles DL dominated the Chiefs OL. Patty didn’t look so great, elite. Go figure the two go hand & hand. When tom Brady was winning SBs or going undefeated. The OL got mentioned as a unit protecting Brady from being touched. Never carried. Go figure great qbs behind good to great OL generally equals success. But only Jalen gets carried. Foh shut up man.
Hurts is not an elite passer but a better passer than Lamar which would mean Lamar isn’t an elite passer. So Lamar won mvps becuase he’s really really fast at QB. Am I following your logic? I don’t even think you believe half the crap you type. And before you do like you normally do when cornered. Don’t dare spend time trying to argue Jalen Hurts isnt an elite QB. Becuase that’s not what I’m saying and you know it chump.
You just said hurts not an elite passer and in the same breath is a better passer than Lamar Jackson. A guy who has won multiple MVPs. After all hurts is just a winner and just so happens to be a better passer than Lamar. Lol
You’re not an eagles fan by the way. You’re a fraud. Complaining about a QB who took this franchise to 2 SBs and won 1. Not bad for a non elite, not as fast of a runner as Lamar/vick just a winner who loves the tush push play call

Yea your football takes are bad. Lamar not an elite passer? Guess he’s too black enough. You might want to update your world a bit bud. Outdated as hell.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
I don't know about Lamar being an "elite" passer...but he's a better passer than Jalen Hurts for sure.
The elite passing guys are probably Burrow, Mahomes, Stafford, Josh Allen, and Drake Maye. Justin Herbert knocking on the door. Jordan Love would be if his accuracy was a little more consistent but the arm talent is there.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Yea Lamar is a better passer than Hurts. I think his last two seasons he’s entered the elite passer convo.
But forget this repetitive issue. No shot Abdul carter was watching porn in a team meeeting and his headphones wasn’t plugged in. That has to be some satire being spread around for laughs. Lol I’m so not believing that. But I can’t stop laughing.

Re: NFL Season 2025
So Jalen Hurts has had the best O line, best running back, best wr duo, solid tight ends.
Mother ****er doesn’t even throw 200 yards a game. Eye test too. His game is ugly. He doesn’t have good location. He gets most of his yards on Russell Wilsonesque moonballs that aj brown manages to come down with it because he’s a beast. Legit throws it up like 3 flys up. It’s insane.
Put Jalen Hurts on any other team in the league and he’s gonna do a lot worse and has the potential to get super ugly.

James Harrison and Big Ben calling out Mike Tomlin
_______
Two Pittsburgh Steelers legends have joined the chorus of voices calling for the franchise to move on from Mike Tomlin, with Ben Roethlisberger even suggesting that the longtime coach is a good fit for the vacant Penn State job.
Roethlisberger and former teammate James Harrison both weighed in on Tomlin's future amid the growing speculation that the struggling Steelers will split with the NFL's longest-tenured coach after this season.
"Maybe it's a clean-house time. Maybe it's time," Roethlisberger said Tuesday on his "Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger" podcast. "I like Coach Tomlin. I have a lot of respect for Coach Tomlin, but maybe it's best for him, too.
Maybe a fresh start for him is what's best. Whether that's in the pros, maybe go be Penn State's head coach. You know what he would do in Penn State? He would probably go win national championships, because he's a great recruiter."

He was pretty good. There was some buzz back in the day that the Niners were going to try to make a run for Watson. The team was a contender but Jimmy G’s QB play was a pretty big problem, he was a big time ceiling limiter for the team.
I was all about it and ready for them to give up picks (I thought like 3 picks not ****ing 6, I wouldn’t have been down for that even with how badly Niners needed an upgrade at QB)
The way I have seen it that even before his injury, Watson was all but doomed.
There was a period for a couple years where he didn’t even play or maybe he played very very little. I can’t remember exact details. I know he had tons of mandatory time away stemming from his massage thing.
Quite simply almost no one can take that much time away from the game and then walk back on the field and play at the original level you were at.
