Re: if lebron 3 peats to end his career
Not really. MJ always beat his opponents in NBA finals, they were unable to ascend to top 15 all time, leaving an impression that MJ's competition were weak since he didnt beat a top 10-15 player all time. Lebron on the other hand, he always lost to his opponents in the NBA Finals, so they were able to make it to top 15 all time, leaving an impression that Lebron played in a tougher era.
Replace MJ with Lebron in the 90s, we would witness Sir Charles, Gary Payton and Karl Malone all making top 15 or even top 10 all time. The Suns, Supersonics and Jazz would also be remembered as historically great championship teams Replace Lebron with MJ however, the legacy of Durant/Curry/Kawhi will all take a hit and they will hardly make it to top 30. The Spurs and Warriors dynasty would not have existed, and everyone will complain how weak this era is.
Those guys were trashed compared to the 2016 warriors, 2012 okc thunder and 2013 spurs. in the 1998 nba finals you have guys like stockton and hornacek who both averaged under 10 ppg.

The 1993 Suns and 1996 Supersonics were historically great teams, they would've defeated 12 Thunder, 13 Spurs and 16 Warriors in 5 games. Of course, they would've beaten Lebron's teams as well, they were just unable to beat MJ the invincible GOAT. Stockton and Hornacek averaged 10ppg due to MJ and the Bulls defense, it was a series characterized by tough defense from both teams. If you paid attention to the Bulls team Pippen shot like shit and Rodman was a 3ppg 8rpg player in that series.
Re: if lebron 3 peats to end his career
LeBron's case would be stronger...
75 years from now people will see two threepeats and 6 titles vs 4 titles and 6 losses and no threepeats. Who would get the nod as the better player?
Jordan.
If it were 7 titles and 1 threepeat vs 6 titles and two threepeats, LeBron would def be more even obviously.
Re: if lebron 3 peats to end his career
Thats a BIG IF. And NO. Short and sweet

That's why the 2020 Miami Heat would also beat the Utah Jazz.

Nah that 2020 Miami Heat team would be swept by any MJ’s bulls and his finals opponents. It’s a miracle that series went to game 6, which is a perfect example of how Lebron and his team always underperforms in the finals. Even this weak and injury plagued Heat team took Lebron to 6 games.

Those Heat team were hitting some out of this world type of 3 pointers. They were like the 1998 Pacers but a much better defensive team. Bulls beat the Pacers in 7 games.

They were nothing like the 1998 Pacers, and they were without Dragic for almost the entire series and without Bam for half of the series. Even with Butler carrying the Heat alone, they somehow made it to game 6. Lebron and his teams always underperformed in NBA finals, when they won it was a hard fight, when they lost it was lopsided series. We have to justify our points by facts, and the facts are that Lebron is a perennial underachiever in nba finals.
