This was the first game that Chris Paul looked healthy. Legrandpa has no chance to beat Paul + Booker all by himself
Nah man. Phoenix had no chance with davis. Without him it's an even ball game or maybe Phoenix has a slight edge. Vegas line should reflect this. I imagine phoenix will -1.5 favorites
Re: Can phoenix win if AD is out?
They should, overwhelming heavy #2 seed favorites facing a #7 seed
What a dumb thread :oldlol: :hammerhead:
Re: Can phoenix win if AD is out?
I had Lakers in 7. I still stand by it.

Lol you know damn well that the Lakers are nothing without AD (literally lottery in 2019).

Love was a perennial all-star in 2018 and the best 2nd option in the conference, while Kyrie played half the games in the 15' Eastern Playoffs (including half the ECF games).
And by virtue of being all-stars or all-defenders in 2005, Zydrunas/Hughes weren't "bums" when Lebron made the playoffs in 2006 - they were decorated players that Lebron had begged to join him (see post #15921).
So Lebron never carried "bums" or low seeds to the playoffs or a deep run, whereas MJ did from 85-89' (he led undecorated role players to the playoffs or deep runs, including low seeds)..

Without them as a tandem, LA is mediocre. Just like I said.
At this stage of Bron's career, who knows. Maybe the Lakers are better with AD than vice versa. :confusedshrug:
Neither are winning a title without one another, so its irrelevant.
Re: Can phoenix win if AD is out?
They should.
Lakers are down 2 starters and are led by a 36 year old guy who's far from 100%.

Lebron has looked pretty close to 100% this series. What are u watching?

His 22 ppg is far and away a career playoff low. By no means does he look quick or explosive out there (as he did before ankle injury). His lack of aggression all series barring 1 qtr is a pretty clear testament to his limited ability.

He averaged 25 a game this year with around 7 assists. This series he's 22 pts but he has 2 more assists a game. Plus he's shooting a full 10% lower for ft so that accounts for about a point. So basically he's scoring 2 points less but has 2 more assists. His offensive production is about the same. He's looked fine. He's still getting up and is fast when he puts the afterburners on. If anything he's just getting older and dosn't exert aa much energy as often.
Re: Can phoenix win if AD is out?
it will be a tough and challenging road ahead. the lakers are the defending champions and they have the overwhelming size and talent advantage. the suns on the other hand were a lottery team until cp3 joined them, and he's hobbling on one leg at the moment, plus the suns have never been to the playoffs as a unit (THIS ROSTER), so they are inexperienced and young.
it will be challenging.
Re: Can phoenix win if AD is out?
Lost by 8 with a late missed layup and turnover after being down 18 in the same quarter doesn’t really equal 0% chance.

This. We'll get to see what happens for the rest of the series.

The Suns were 2-13 from 3 for the second half. That probably won't happen very often at all.
