I despise him because I honestly believe he raped a women. He was never convicted because he paid her off to avoid going to court...but there is nothing he can do in a game that will remove that kind of stain. It's the same reason I hate Ruben Patterson. Kobe is a a great player...but complete low life sociopath off the court (imo).

So you hate Kobe because he's supposedly fake? So was Jordan.

You hate Kobe because of his playoff performance? Kobe played well in the series against Phoenix, are you going to hate Jordan because of his loses to the Detroit Bad Boys?
Jordan was just as fake as Kobe and to go along with it, he was an a$$hole, much more so then Kobe. I really don't understand how someone can hate Kobe, but be a fan of Jordan.
Kobe is just Jordan 10 years later, and I don't mean in skill/accomplishments, I just mean in the overall scheme of things in the NBA now.
People hate Kobe because he is the best at his position. People hate on Jay-Z all the time too. People used to hate on Abraham Lincoln.

- tries too hard to mimmick Jordan
- has Vujacic as a friend
- tries too hard to be the hero in crunch time (although I think its become a habit he can't shake off)

This postis basically explains why Kobe deserves to be hate. He's nowhere near as good as people like his clown claim he is. Literally the most overrated player of the last 35 years.

You mean Lebron James? Touted as the future GOAT, compared with Magic Johnson by national media even though he has won nothing and has played one of the worst finals performances ever and gets shut down by elite teams?

Apples and oranges. Jordan was tough on guys he didn't think was giving their all. I didn't hear too much about in-fighting with Scottie Pippen or a power struggle with Phil Jackson. Even the tension with Horace Grant stayed behind closed doors. And besides all that...he was even tougher on himself. He didn't blame guys when he himself didn't give his all. He didn't give up in big games then talk about how his teammates weren't "tough" enough. He doesn't have a trail of ex-teammates saying they left the team because of him. Phil Jackson never wrote a book saying how much of a cancer and prima-donna he was.
There's a difference in calling someone "Crumbs" or "Will Vanderbilt" and telling police that his teammate gave girls hush money.

People seem to have taken the Jordan comment the wrong way. In no way did I mean skill or accomplishments. I mean as in, he's that guy, he's the guy you want to beat, he's the one you want to be better than, he's the ruler of the kingdom, or was in this case. It was his league for a while, and people seem to think Kobe wants to be like Jordan, when the thing is, Kobe wants to be better. Kobe never wanted to be like Jordan, he saw his game, and saw the level of success Jordan achieved, so he crafted many aspects of his game by Jordan, though Kobe is one of those people who strive to be the best and in this case came short, which by no means is a failure but an amazing effort.
People will be arguing this meaningless sh!t for 100 years I swear and we'll still be where we are today.

And the ratio for "trolls" are higher for Kobe than lebron.
Some Kobe fans are so bad, that when Kobe has an off-night, but Gausol or Odom steps up and are the Game MVP's, they still give ALL the credit to Kobe.
Those kinds aren't even Laker fans!
