Bo Jackson would wreck LBJ in almost anything. He was INFINITELY stronger, faster, INFINITELY tougher, quicker, better straight and lateral acceleration, more coordination(I'd like to see LBJ hit a baseball), body control...
That being said, LBJ is a freakshow. People that tall aren't supposed to be that fast.
Bo Jackson was easily the greater athlete.
I say this because:
1. I'm an Auburn student
2. Anyone who could dominate two sports is on another level of ability.
... and the overrating of Lebron James continues.
He's an amazing athlete, a freak of nature, but Bo Jackson was on another level in terms of Strength, Speed and Agility. Dude was ridiculous.

LeBron with the right training could be much much stronger, but he's a basketball player, and too much bulk would hinder his shooting mechanics.

However I am not an expert, and perhaps I was mistaken. Maybe another poster can clear this up. Sprinting without shoes is faster or not than with shoes?

LeBron is atleast a 4.35-4.45 guy off visual. Dude is honestly the fastest player in the league.
football players are much more of a freak athlete than basketball players in general. this is no different here.
i'd compare lebron to grandmama first before bo jackson.

Faster with shoes. Regardless, I don't buy the credibility of the source nor most of the Wilt Tales for that matter.

It's different.
Plenty of football players are very explosive but have terrible endurance. Some aren't explosive but are extremely strong.

As for their peaks in athletic's Bo has him twice over.
