Like who? They're over the cap
Couldn't they have went after Matt Barnes too? I just don't see this as that big of a deal.
Not sure I understand why they signed him. Is he going to guard Kobe, LeBron, Wade or Derrick Rose? Really? He'll strengthen their bench, but I still think they really needed to keep Tony Allen or find another wing defender.
He did a pretty good job on those guys (minus Bron of course) for the Cavs, and he's obviously a much better offensive player than Tony Allen. I see Delonte as a pretty substantial upgrade to TA.

He's the best they could get this cheap and when he is focused he can defend but he can score too. Maybe in Boston with quailty team and coaching they will keep his head screwed on. West focused makes Boston very dangerous and a real threat to Miami.
miami-boston just got better. lebron vs west/shaq

They had no cap space for Barnes, all they had was the min. Barnes had his mind set on the life of L.A though and being on the champs helps too. Agree Matt would of been a perfect replacement for Allen who could do more offensively.

I really don't see this changing the match up with Boston and Miami. If Miami plays the LeBron, Wade, Miller, Bosh and Anthony lineup, I wouldn't want West out on the floor.

This cat is an idiot.

Coming from you, that might just be a compliment.
Delonte can actually create his own shot too.

You know you're coming across with a lack of knowledge base. Several posters have exposed you in this thread alone.
Stop stating your opinion like it matters.
Possibly the best player they could have signed at this point
I really don't know how LeBron will be able to concentrate on the game when he plays Celtics now....
Delonte was Clevelands best defender, just saying. Idiots.

Exposed me? All I said was that I don't see how this really helps them beat their main competitors in Miami or the Lakers. No one has said anything in this thread to offer a reason why that's wrong.
Is West the best player available? Sure. Does he some sort of game changer? Please...
