If you don't vote, just shut up.

You mean the right wing are. Its so dumb how they have so many people on the right defending the top 1% income vs everyone else exaggerating socialism.
I do have regrets voting for Obama, since him and Hillary are too much of do-gooders than looking out for ourselves policy, and considering we're likely headed into another recession this time next year, we need to tighten up. If anything comes of Libya i'll blame Obama but i still put Iraq and Afghanistan on Bush.

Meet the new boss.
Same as the old boss.

So it is better to vote for a candidate you have no faith in then it is to not vote at all?
It is better to vote for a third party candidate you have faith in even if you know they wont get more than a few thousand votes and your vote will be wasted?
It is better to vote for one of the two major parties even though they basically believe in the same shit and both are not aiming to accomplish any of the goals you feel America should be working towards?
So basically what you're saying is it's better to vote for a shithead than it is to not vote at all.
People not voting for 3rd party candidates because they feel it wont matter is the reason we are so dominated by a two party systems. Contrary to popular belief, it is worth it to vote for someone other than Dems and Republicans.
Don't blame me. I voted for Ron Paul. I wonder when I'll be proven wrong about Obama being no different than Bush.

Idealistically maybe, but realistically no it is a massive waste of time spent driving to the voting station, waiting in line, and a waste of gas.
In your little ideal situation what will happen if more people vote for 3rd parties? Magically the two party system will lose all of it's power? Do you really believe that will happen?

If everyone that had your mindset voted for the same third party candidate, it wouldn't be such a huge waste of time.

No I don't believe it will happeen because too many people share your attitude. why waste a half hour going to vote whenever you can just sit on your ass and complain about it, right?

So now I as an American don't have the right to complain about a shitty government that I didn't vote in to office?
That's what America is all about, sport.

I never said that you couldn't complain. My point is that you are a part of the problem with your defeatist attitude. Go out and do something tangible like voting for someone you DO want in office instead of sitting on your hands.
