Nah, half a step is an old school term in bball coaching, when you pick up the ball as you step. Its not a defined pick up dribble [I]then [/I]2 steps, its when you are taking a step and pick up the ball at the same time, then take another 2 steps. Its a travel technically but happens all the time in the NBA.
