ESPN: Lakers looking to trade for BOTH CP3 & Dwight Howard

The thing is these teams don't want to lose CP or Howard for nothing. And if they won't sign an extension for certain teams, then what choice to teams have? Now if some time don't mind renting them for a season than cool. However ideally, u would want something in return. So there's a better chance than some think that this CAN happen. A team like the Knicks don't have the pieces on the roster to get Paul. Not saying that other don't have better deals out there, but they have more to offer than many teams as well.

Kobe would still be the #1 guy on offense. Though Dwight will get at least an extra 4 points a game off of D Fish missed layups.

I would make a distinction between Kobe and Lebron because if Kobe plays on a super team he would have done so after already winning a grip of championships. Lebron couldn't beat em, so he joined em. Either way I'm not a guy who is in the habit of downplaying championships. If the Heat win some they win some. Superteam or not. The 96 Bulls were a Superteam.

Tell that to Dwight Howard and CP3. It Kobe won't sacrifice his FG's attempts per game this team ain't going anywhere. The Magic have some horrible GM's if they didn't ask to include Gasol on the Howard and Bynum trade.

kobe has already earned his rings and respect
howard has already proved that he can't carry a team and be the guy

as long as howard plays D and dominates the paint he will get his opportunities
