She's doing the right thing...she's getting money entitled to her, by law. She didn't leave him for money, she left for his unfaithfulness. Kobe knew the stakes before he put a ring on her finger, he's got no one to blame but himself.

Their kids will be fine....they barely seen their dad anyway during the season, and off-court engagements, endorsement stuff that needs to be fulfilled...their mom never worked so they will still spend quality time with her as well. The only true difference is they won't be together.
