And OP seriously wonders why Lebron gets flak? :oldlol:
When Durant embarrasses Lebron in the Finals I cant wait to see your reaction.:oldlol:
the difference is that one of them is better than the other
melo cant touch KD
Their stats look very similar indeed.
Carmelo plays on a shitty team and is seen as a 'cancer' or a 'chucker' because he takes far more shots on a lower percentage because the rest of his team is incapable of scoring. Durant plays on a team with 3 great playmakers and good/great bigs. That's really 90% of what it is. Durant is probable does have a bit better shot selection but it's not as big a difference as some people make it out to be.
Melo have always played with great scorers as Iverson, JR Smith, STAT, Nene etc
Durant doesnt kill ball movement the way Melo does
Melo is a GREAT scorer, but is also a black hole. He isnt talented to win on his own, and isnt a good enough team mate to win with another star
You trying too hard man.
Trying what? Trying hard to see who thinks is better between these two very similar SFs?

Westbrook and Harden are better than anything Melo had in Denver. Iverson was past prime, and Billups was getting old as well.

I guess that's it. Melo like to overdribble and just being a black hole in general. Durant plays within the offense.
lol thats not it at all.
Its quite evident that Durant is the:
Better Scorer
Better Mid-range & 3pt Shooter
Better Finisher
Better Ball Handler
Better Off-Ball
Better Re-bounder
Better Facilitator
Better Defender
That awkward moment I can't help but agree with Bladers. It'll never happen again.
Melo is a cancer, yet almost everyone does better with him.

Durant...
1. Has a little more range
2. Has a couple inches on Melo and is therefore a little harder to guard
3. Is smarter
4. Is a better defender
Those 4 are a pretty big deal and that's what separates the second best player in the league from somebody who barely is top 10 (and at times is outside of the top 10).
KD play's defense and his strength is shooting and shooting over people
Melo dosen't play defense and his strength is posting up smaller defenders at the 3 position, or being too quick for 4's to guard with his faceup game.
Do you think Lebron and rudy gay are the same player too? Or are you just saying this because of your lebron-fondling agenda?
Since when does Durant play great defense? Compared to who? Steve Nash? Both Carmelo/Durant have similar defense...
Its not like you can significantly see any difference defensively between those two, not like Durant is 1st team all-defensive or 2nd or 3rd there anyways or something....
Carmelo & Durant are very similar players in every way...
Rudy Gay & Lebron? How is that a good example? Lebron averages almost double the amount of his points, much more rebounds and triple the amount of his assists and is a 1000000000000000000 times better defender....
Carmelo & Durant are both volume shooting pure scorers with extremly similar numbers & gamestyles.... there is a major difference, Gay/Lebron are not even on the same dimensions..
I feel like Carmelo is extremly underrated or it could be that Durant is overrated...

Try harder. Your agenda is obvious.

They don't have similar game styles at all.
You are right about Carmelo is underrated and Durant is overrated tho.
I see these guys as CLONES... where one just so happen to be taller (and have a MUCH better team)
Who do you think is better?
Durant will be the best player in the NBA in 2 or 3 years whereas Anthony won't ever sniff the top spot.
