Re: Kobe stories: A collection of NBA peers talking about kobe's work ethic (April 6, 12)
Best player of his era, bar none.
If by bar none you mean in the discussion for best player of his era, I agree.
If by bar none you mean it's not even up for debate, Kobe is the best of his era no doubt, then I'm just going to assume you had a momentary menta lapse, and forgot who Shaq and Tim Duncan are.

1st two is arguable, but come on LeBron still got ways to go. One ring doesn't make him greater yet. Although he has a GREAT chance to be even greater when it's all said and done.

I wouldn't call myself a 'Kobe fan' but I've always had the utmost respect for his work ethic and attitude. Inspirational.

Yeah, I don't really consider Kobe and LeBron as a part of the same era. Not in the sense of "who was the greater player in that era" anyway.
The discussion for best player of the 2000-2010 era is definitely debatable and only Kobe stans will try to make it sound like it's not debtable by citing things like a fan vote via TNT.
People that have actually watched the NBA the last 10-12 years know that Shaq, Duncan, and Kobe all three have very strong and legitimate cases for best player of that era.
Re: Kobe stories: A collection of NBA peers talking about kobe's work ethic (April 6, 12)
Greatest NBA player in history. One day a great novelist will write down Kobe's exploits in epic prose. and 500 years from now that novel will be considered to be America's Gilgamesh. Can't wait for future generations to remember kobe for the legend that he is!

Something is wierd about Kobe he has an insane work yet he's never been able to shoot 50% for a season as every other great player has.He has never really dominated a season. I find it dumb when people(casual fans) overrate him. Even at his peak he didn't do much in the playoffs even though he had some bad players. Then when he won back to back he wasn't the best player in the NBA.

No, if it was true you wouldn't sound so stupid.

I didn't know how else to explain it? But how is it not true?
