Well your opinion is completely false. Animal flesh is not very good for you nor is it necessary; lots of carcinogens.
I don't know. It's worked pretty well so far for millions of years for creatures towards the top of the food chain, including and especially humans.

where would you get protein from? A f*cking tomato?

Beans and rice make a complete protein.
Beans and rice make a complete protein.
beans do not give you enough protein for a day. Unless you want to be a skinny man with any muscles like Hollywood actors then it's fine. But muscles need a lot of protein specially if you practice sports.
And since when has rice give you protein? Rice is know for the carbs and fiber it gives you (im a runner) but not protein.
I just don't like the uppity Vegan's. The ones that judge you if you are not (Hipster Vegans).
But besides that I give vegans props....no way I could do that. And it is good for their health.
nop. pure veggies doesn't provide enough protein the body needs. and protein substitutes have been proven to be lacking.
a balanced diet is what we need. meat, fruits, veggies.
altho, when you think about it, it's kind of disgusting to eat a living thing, especially if you've read David Brin's uplift books where humans basically bioengineer animals to evolve them to sapiency. you're basically eating creatures that may have the capacity to think in the future.
i still love chicken tho. yumm.
Well I don't like to eat meat either but it's not like I have a Choice.

Eating alot of protein doesnt equal having big muscles. With that said rice does have some proteins in it but a minimal amoint compared to what you would get in eggs or meat.
Also im not 100% confident but i think that rice doesnt contain the essential amino acids which means you cant just depend on rice to get your proteins and need to combine it with something else

dude wtf??????? :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
As a matter of fact 500 000 people in Asia go blind because of a diet based on high rice intake.

Exactly. Brain health also depends on amino acids.
So we're all scum?
Yes
We could not care less about the millions of people that suffer and die as a results of our life style so why should we care about what we do to the animals and the rest of the planet.

There's plenty of protein sources for vegetarians/vegans. Lentils, tofu, beans, there's even veggie protein powders out there. Only complaints I've seen from people is that a lot of their protein sources have a high number if carbs as well, which is apparently the devil.
