My athleticism is damn near world class from a Track & Field standpoint.
I bet I could D up on some NBA scrubs. Put the clamps on JJ Barea.

It wouldnt matter how fast you are, because the "scrubs" would cross you over so hard you would tear your acl, mcl, and ur ****in ********.
Just because they are scrubs in the nba, does not mean they are good. Barea would cross you up so good, and besides, most NBA point guards, if not all, are world class athletisism
Delusional.
NBA players are among the one thousand best basketball players in the entire world. Steve Novak would push you around like a ragdoll and Steve Nash would make you think he's a Gary Payton-level defender.
im sure the majority of WNBA players would light us up.
This question again? :facepalm

This, it's crazy how professionals are disrespected. They are as good at basketball as surgeons are at operating, think about that...wanna step in and do a surgery? You'd be as lost on an NBA court
Really this thread again? Aren't you the same guy that made the last one?

I've played against some d1 girls and I smoked them. The strength difference is too much to overcome. I was able to box out for every rebound or push them underneath the basket for literally every rebound. You feel really bad putting in effort.
And I'm only 6'. No disrespect, but let's not compare women athletes to men in a sport like basketball.
Some people just don't realize the excellence that is a professional athlete.
They are worlds beyond the rest of us in terms of what they are physically capable of doing.
let's say Steve Blake he's a good height, not too tall not too short.
He's only good at shooting 3's. So if you take away that, he's virtually useless right?
Are you 12 years old?
I hope so for your sake, because this is a stupid thread and I don't say this lightly.
Not only would Blake destroy everybody there, he'd do it without much effort. I've played against players that got invited to try out for pro teams, and they obliterate everybody. Players that played a season or two overseas and are currently in their early 40s and are still faster, stronger, quicker, smarter than any 20 year old..... in their SANDALS!!!!
It Mark Jackson walked into most rec leagues or gyms, he'd be their MVP, YES coach Mark Jackson.
These guys are pros for a reason
Steve Blakes career high is 25pts (yeah nothing to go crazy about); can you drop 25 in an NBA game?? Bet most of us couldn't do that even in a D-league game

Wow...that was surprisingly bad basketball.
Jeremy Lin and his team went 9-0 in pick up games at a gym
Here is the video (@ 0:48 mark):

Yea, Steve Blake would destroy everyone. I played against a guy who was a starting guard for Florida International during the early 2000s and he smoked everyone, so if a guy like that can destroy in a rec league, I'm 100% sure anyone on an NBA roster can.
Any role player from a 3 point specialist down to the garbage man, will tear down any rec league.
