These are very comfortable. I was a bit skeptical about its durability but it hasn't broke for almost 7 months and I treat my earbuds like shit. I'm not really into sound quality so im not sure if this is overpriced, but I would pay for it again because they're lasting me over 7 months. Maybe I got lucky with this one as the cables are very thin.[/QUOTE]
There are a ton of positive reviews for these, and I'm actually thinking about giving them a try. Which is absurd given how much I hate earbuds and the price of these ($90).
But, many are saying they are far from the annoying earbuds most are used to.
Those Sony MDR-XB's look great too.
So many choices out there.
Re: most comfortable headphones?
The Sony XR-10's look trill as hell. Stylin all over beats by Dre.
Wish I had $200 to blow.

Those (Sony red x headphones) are $150 used on Amazon.
And I hear they are only rebranded versions of the XB 800s, which go for about $100 used.

Re: most comfortable headphones?
About 50% of the reviews on those lower-end Sony's in the MDR-XB series are saying they're uncomfortable. On-the-ear type headphones that have a lot of pressure as opposed to over-the-ear comfort. The more expensive kind are more comfortable.
Re: most comfortable headphones?
I prefer the over the back ones myself. I'm not ****ing spending 200 dollars on a pair of headphones and they work well enough.

I've seen some earbuds that run for $500.
Those mothaf*ckas better feel like nothing's there and transport me to some fantasy music video of whatever track I'm listening to.
Re: most comfortable headphones?
Going with the Skullcandy Aviators.
Rave reviews on their comfort. It's like laying your head on Kate Upton's tits, they say.

Re: most comfortable headphones?
Skullcandy headphones aren't durable they'll break quickly. Look up Audio Technica ATH M50, the best quality and comfort headphones you will find for that price range. Had them for two years now and still going strong.

Even with in-home use only?
I don't really plan to take them out much and will be very gentle.

The bose are great for running since they never come out. Very light and they dont hurt your ears.
Im on my second pair tho, one of the headphones stopped working but luckily i had a warranty from best buy. I would recommend them for sure.
Re: most comfortable headphones?
For comfort, you're going to have to try them out. Every pair of serious mid-ranged price and better headphones are designed to be comfortable to someone, somewhere. So when you are not comfortable, it's because you're buying something that doesn't fit your head and ears. Nobody on the internet is going to be able to tell you what is comfortable to you.
I have dozens of headphones from all brands due to my trade and use my own frankencans daily because without them, the best sounding headphones were not the most comfortable, and now I have the best of both worlds for my own needs. I REALLY love cheap AT 500(stay in place better than the 2000s for my head) suspension and sheep skin upper padding with Sony low drivers and JVC high and my own pine housings with whatever the hell transplant I got the ear cushions from(micro velour, cheap but effective). That is my personal preference.

I hate earbuds. All the ones I've used have giving me ear aches after a certain amount of time. I never tried/bought some 500 dollar or expensive ones, but my experience with ear buds is if you wear them for an extended time they hurt.
