Yeah, I remember that quote about Hakeem, but I didn't think it was 2005. Slightly puzzled why he dropped McHale and put in Scottie, unless he built the team with a different view in mind given that he was actually playing?
And, yeah, I don't think he'd put in Duncan; it just wouldn't suit the team style. They already have a supreme post player in Hakeem. Although a one-two tandem of Hakeem and Duncan would be extraordinary to watch, it doesn't fit the team.
2009 and 2010 must have given Jordan a higher opinion on Kobe, given that he had finally won as 'the man'. Obviously he wouldn't put him over Magic at the guard if he's playing, but I'm wondering if he'd give him the nod over West if he was excluded from the team himself. He says he loves West...
