fundamental and extremely well-coached basketball
If Parker outplays Westbrook and Leonard limits Durant then the Spurs have a chance. Spurs still have superior coach and the best big man in the series.
Because Gregg Popovich >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Scott Brooks
Spurs are gonne Lose to Gsw this time
who knows clips could knock OKC out first...
And if they do that, who knows how far they could go, right?
I recognize that tiny glimmer of hope that maybe you'll get to see a parade in LA after all. :oldlol:
In your other thread, you said the Rockets matter, and the Spurs don't.
Do you seriously believe that the Rockets have a better shot at OKC than a healthy Spurs team?
The Rockets probably wouldn't even beat OKC even if Westbrook went down again.
If Westbrook gets injured.

Is Pop lacing 'em up?

I doubt it. Putting my money on OKC over Clippers.
I could actually see the Clippers beating OKC this year. Doc Rivers got these guys focused
Last year, The Spurs were able to shut down Curry, Zbo, and Lebron(for 3games).
Popovich's schemes defensively is that good, and i can assume he's having one for the Servant up his sleeves.
The problem now for the Spurs is getting healthy enough to execute it.

All of those guys have weaknesses on offense that you can gameplan against. Durant doesn't. Hence Durant absolutely owning the Spurs in 2012 and then Popovich calling him the best player on the planet.
Sports are all about match-ups so everything depends on which team plays which first (brackets). I'd like to see SAS in the opposite bracket of 1. OKC 2. HOU. I don't give them much chance against OKC even without Westbrooke as Reggie Jackson just kills them and Ibaka seems to light up when they play each other. HOU also is a bad match-up for the Spurs. All the other West teams I'd favor SAS.
So I'd like to see:
1. OKC
2. SAS
3. POR
4. LAC
5. HOU
6. GSW
7. PHX
8. MEM
Then SAS would have a great shot if LAC reached WCF. IMO, Portland is still too inexperienced to beat SAS over a 7 game series even though Aldridge kills them.
Tim Duncan schooling the OKC front court
Manu & Parker playing well
3pt shooters making their shots
OKC ain't got a James Harden & there's no way Ibaka will go 11/11 against the Spurs in a game again. Spurs would be the underdogs but I see Westbrook not being 100%, which plays into San Antonio's hands.
