:D
Sick.
Hope it's a great game, I'm intrigued by this.
But ambitious projects were rather disappointing as of late (Watch Dogs & GTA V).
Yeah, I didn't really enjoy GTA V as much as I wanted to. The story was bland and not very interesting compared to GTA IV, San Andreas and Vice City, and GTA Online didn't really appeal to me. I just found it to be repetitive and boring.
I think I might do a playthrough of the series soon.
Watch_Dogs was made by Ubisoft, so that was understandable. Fvck Ubisoft.
I think Kojima, as a video game maker, is on another level to everyone else. I can't really see any projects of his flopping.
Silent Hills :(
Have it preordered on amazon. Gonna get home from work Tuesday night and play the shit out of it. Got Wednesday off :pimp:
So much for that. Two people just got fired, so I probably have to work that day :facepalm
It's funny how two people lose their jobs and the first thing that came to my mind was how it affects my MGS V experience :oldlol:

Ah, that sucks. I'd be pissed too.
Reviews are coming in. 9's and 10's everywhere.

I just saw that. This is looking like a must get for me. I enjoyed MGS4.

I knew this game had GOAT potential from the moment I saw it at E3 2013.

I went in with high expectations, and every expectation I have has been ruthlessly shattered and replaced with GREAT appreciation, respect, and awe.

I will say that Kojima has crafted an incredibly memorable game, and when all is said and done, possibly his best.

The gameplay, storytelling, and protagonists in Metal Gear may shift with each new installment, but Kojima
Fvcking HYPE.
I don't think we'll see another game with this much dedication and heart put into it, until maybe the next GTA. These don't come around very often any more.
Kojima :applause:

IGN & GameSpot gave it 100%.
GameTrailers gave it 93%.
These 3 websites don't just hand out perfect scores; that's very impressive.
This game might actually beat out The Witcher 3 it seems.
the gamespot review is a really great read.
Every fan of Metal Gear has their favorite game in the series. For some, it's the unique gameplay quirks, memorable set pieces, or specific plot points that dictate their adoration for one game over another. When defining the best Metal Gear game, things get trickier, but with The Phantom Pain, that problem is finally resolved. There has never been a game in the series with such depth to its gameplay, or so much volume in content. The best elements from the past games are here, and the new open-world gameplay adds more to love on top. When it comes to storytelling, there has never been a Metal Gear game that's so consistent in tone, daring in subject matter, and so captivating in presentation. The Phantom Pain may be a contender for one of the best action games ever made, but is undoubtedly the best Metal Gear game there is.
hype!
I can't think of a single game off the top of my head that received a perfect score from both GameSpot and IGN; besides maybe GTA V.
Last of Us got 80% from GameSpot.
That's pretty bad ass; but I am still not sure if it's my type of game.
I think I'll get too bored from the slow paced gameplay.
