Re: Rex Chapman and Brendan Haywood just called KD the best player in the game.
KD and The Warriors have a losing record when Steph is not playing.. I say STEPH has the greatest impact of any player in the league at this point..
That's a tricky one. Steph is is more important for the warriors regular season success but kd is more important in playoffs in big games. This has been proven since he's been there. He can get any shot he wants no matter the defence. Steph relies alot more on screens so if defences are switching well and being really disciplined when gaurding his off the ball movement he can be contained alot easier. He also can't play defence so he's a liability on that end.
KD is the second best player on his own team.
Not in playoffs he's not

The more you repeat this awful hot take, it doesn't make it true. I do appreciate your hard effort though. :lol If you remove Curry from this Warriors team, they 100% don't win a ship this year. If you remove KD, they are still one of the favorites.
If KD was so unguardable and Godlike, he wouldn't have only 1 NBA finals his entire career where they got punked in 5. Or the one series he didn't have a superstar with him, he lost in 5.

You along with the rest of Stephs fans are making 2 main mistakes in thinking this.
One: this not the same warriors team from 2015 and 2016. There bench was really good. One of the best benches ever. There bench now isnt that great. If you take kd off this team the warriors would not be the favorite and they probably don't make it out of the second round.
Two: teams have caught up to the warriors and there style of play. they know you have to switch pretty much everything. They know it's better to run Klay and Steph off the three point line. They know not to sleep once Steph passes the ball because he's gonna continue to move and relocate. They know to attack Steph on offence because he's a weak defender and it tires him out on the offensive end.
Teams have adjusted and the warriors no longer dominate like they did. They may not even get by Houston this year and once kd leaves they'll never win again.
