Are you confusing basketball evolution with evolution by natural selection?

One happy middle ground solution:
Stretch the season.
Instead of November to may… October to June.
Also, it would further skew stats between eras.
I think ppl care way too much about this tbh.
All that should matter is the quality of the current product. If by chance that meant reducing the number of games, I could care less how it bothers the historians. This is the same league that instituted a brand new shot worth more points after 28 years of not having one. The historical records or whatever you wanna call them were completely blown to shit anyway.
Absence of load management has nothing to do with it.
There were just as many, if not more injuries last year.

Four of those names were All-NBA players as well.
All-NBA centers
1 Jokic
2 Sabonis
3 Gobert
Guards
1 Shai; Luka
2 Steph; Ant
3 Dame; Brunson
Haliburton (tho, he's close as well to being out.) Maxey on the outside
Forwards
1 Giannis; JT
2 KD; Leonard
3 AD; Bron
AllNBA eliminated the center spot so Gobert won't make it and Sabonis is iffy.

Since when did they eliminate the center spot? Doesn't make since seeing how the past 3 MVPs have been centers.

Nevermind, i remember now. How dumb of the NBA. They didn't get rid of it when DeAndre Jordan and Tyson Chandled were 1st team but now when All-Time centers in Jokic and Embiid they due away with it.

They have stopped putting position requirements on All-NBA selections. If they wanted, they could pick 10 guards, or 10 centers.

Not a superstar but siakam's desperate block attempt against coby white near the end of the 4th qtr. the previous night resulted into a leg injury for the latter. :facepalm
Wolves, Clippers, Sixers all have their title odds close to zero after recent injuries...
The games are more high speed and intense than ever.
No, there is actually more standing around in today’s game. Yes there is a higher pace because of lack of physicality, resistance and defense in general. So that isn’t the case whatsoever. If it was that high speed, there would be less emphasis on weight lifting and adding bulk. I think it’s due to a different set of circumstances plus these Gen Zers are pussified
