You actually do seem genuine with your thread here, but your basketball takes can only be construed as trolling.
I've always been willing to talk about any take I've ever had. This is a discussion forum the point of this place is discussion. I'm more than willing to talk to anyone about anything with an open mind. Do you think maybe you should just kinda let it go that I don't think highly of Shaq? Is it really that crazy to accept that people who saw this stuff first hand might have different takes than you?

What was Shaq's head to head record against Stockton in the playoffs again?
It took a seasoned politician in LBJ to actually get it to pass. Under JFK it never would've passed, his approval rating was dropping massively by late 63 and it was a toss-up if he'd have actually been reelected.
Lol @ thinking 2 years in office where he had to clean up his own mess with the CMC is top 5 worthy. You're like a little kid.
damn that's brutal.
Do you believe that to be true? Just out of curiosity.

there's certainly truth to it.
how many young or new voters came out in 07 to vote for our first black president, 100% based on race? quite a many, i imagine.
...wouldn't you agree?

But that would imply anyone who isn't a white Christian male that achieves anything of note in politics didn't do so of their own volition, that it was always due to their race, religion or gender.
Say what you want about his tenure as president, but Obama was a young, charismatic candidate and a very talented speaker. If being black was all it took to be president, Corey Booker would be our current commander in chief.
Sure, I think it helped Obama to be black, but he still had to earn his way past Hillary in the primary, who was basically preordained the nomination before campaigning even started. But chalking him becoming president up solely to being black is definitely inaccurate, and equating it to Kamala's situation is straight up retarded :lol

that's why i limited my answer to "there's certainly truth to it".
Re: PResidential Rankings on a tier list
The black vote is the most overrated thing in politics. Not only do blacks vote in small percentages but all of the blacks in the US are in the deep south which is ruby red. The only place I can seen it mattering is Georgia and maybe N. Carolina. Either way Obama would have won without the black vote.

Diamenz literally admitted he's racist (like he straight up said he doesn't like black people), idk why anyone listens to him.

Even though our technology was headed that direction no matter who is president, and we have been gathering the best talent in the world because of the new deal to help us reach that point.
Other than that he got a lot of credit for civil rights legs passed under Lyndon Johnson, and he didn’t get blamed for the Nam debacle because he got assassinated. Vietnam kept going and going because it allowed him to fund tax dollars into military spending and line the pockets of defense contractors. You can argue it’s what ballooned the corruption into what it is today. He also cut taxes for the wealthy during this time of increased deficit spending.
Overall, just putting a guy who only served 2.5 years in the top 5 is weird.

Vietnam is tricky to blame on Kennedy, the situation was under control in the early 60's. We had only lost dozens of men and the war was winnable. The shift didn't really happen until LBJ committed half a million men to just try and decimate the region. And we also don't know who in the US ordered the assassination of Diem and the failed coup. If that was Johnson, Kennedy, or McNamara.
Who do you replace Kennedy with though...Eisenhower had Korea and China falling under his watch and he started US support of Vietnam during his regime. I guess you could go with Jefferson but he did play a big part in the War of 1812

It perhaps helped account for the massive victory, but I think any democratic candidate would have won the presidency in 08 after the shitshow that was the Bush administration. Of those candidates, Obama was certainly among the most, if not THE most qualified, intelligent, and charismatic.
Using "DEI hire" implies that he received the position over more qualified candidates because he was black. I don't believe that to be true.

There’s been too many Presidents to give you a list like that. Considering none of us were alive with the exception of Jasper to witness a majority of these guys in office.
Top 5 List:
Washington
Lincoln
Teddy Roosevelt
Ronald Reagan
Donald Trump
