Great players bring out the best in their teammates. LeBron brought out the best in Kyrie; Curry brought the best out of Wiggins (the 2nd best player in the last Warriors championship). Strawther, Westbrook, Braun all shot around .500 and were the Nuggets other top scorers. Dish to them and save your legs for defense.
At the power positions, Wizards were 17-28 FG. So not much interior defense to speak of.
For all the people focusing on points and "moar help", there's other answers why the Nuggets will keep losing games like this.

MPJ clearly belongs in the NBA. He is their most consistent 3 pt shooter but went 0-5. It happens.
Aside from Jokic the rest of the team shot 2-19 from 3. Poole was 9-20. Do you think Jokic was guarding Poole?

Murray would never have averaged 30 in the playoffs unless he was playing with a guy who averaged 30 in the playoffs 3 years in a row.

i am an avid Jokic fan, #1 fanclub on ISH. I even put in the title that he scored 56 points. Jokic #1 heavyweight.

It really shows how dumb fans are. Jokic is not under question as a player. Not even his defense. We have a decade of tracking data on him at this point. Nuggets are almost 30 points better with him on the court the past 3 years. Peak LeBron never did that. Peak Curry never did that.
Jokic already ran the gauntlet and got a dominant title with his abilities. I’m not really sure wtf point any one is trying to make pretending this guy isn’t by far the best player of the era.
The Nuggets playing like absolute is not the fault of the guy who is elite, not decent, not good, not great, elite at almost everything on the offensive side of basketball, and then still elite at some on defensive(deflections, box outs, and defensive rebounding).
And did someone say don’t score 56 on 38 shots, safe you’re legs for defense? But the idiots around him who scored 10, are expected to play average D?
