I'd say one of the favorites but not clear favorites. Clear favorites are teams like 2017 Warriors, 2013 Heat, 1996 Bulls, etc.
NBA Title is too big a deal for little bumf#ck OKC.
I mean they've improved a lot as a team since allegedly making the playoffs in 2023.

Didn't matter to the 2012 odds makers.

bron had a legacy of choking especially after 2011 so they weren’t impressed with him as an opponent and thought he was gonna do another 2007, 2011 Finals performance. Bron lucked out that he played against 22 and 23 year old chokers with no previous finals experience meanwhile he played with a FMVP while their core had 5 Finals under their belt already while compared to 0 to the Baby Thunder.
Denver and Boston will meet in the Finals

Why won’t OKC beat Denver?

OKC has 2 star guards but Nuggets have 3 good guards with Murray, Westbrook and Braun.. .Meanwhile, Jokic, Porter Jr. and Gordon demolish hartenstien and chet ("bangers").
Then of course there's the brand of ball issue - ball-domination vs ball movement... The latter tends to prevail in a vacuum.

indiana looks really "care free"
its almost like they have "zero" pressure to win it all.
I say, indiana will steal the title from SGA.
for some reason, indiana looks more settled and playing very loose.
OKC got expectations now because of the Season MVP.
indiana has nothing to loose, hence, they'll win it all making Reggie Miller a proud daddy for breading these young pacers.
I see 3ball doesn't want to come back to this thread lol.
BTW OKC has the 4th most wins of all time before the finals. Seems like my OP was correct based on OKC's data and historic defense.
Yeah, they're the clear favorite.
Just think, there was a stinky idiot on here who didn't even think they'd end up 4th-6th seed last year.
Called it in February, but we had some dumbasses, like 3ball, say otherwise
Caruso and Hartenstein were nice free agency pick ups, OKC defense has an argument for being the best defense this century.
