I'm down 30% on my stocks so that sucks and I kept buying more all the way down.
I still think they're going to recover when they launch their robots or their self driving cars, but yeah, it doesn't look great right now. Elon needs to spend some more time soon on the business if they are to catch up.

Tesla is obviously doing great, they have Elon as CEO and he's close with Trump working with the government so he can enrich himself, or at least that's what Bill Gates was telling us just a few months ago.

I've called Trump a socialist many many times on this forum... I don't side with him on everything... and when I say bigger & better, I'm talking about technological advancements... so just because technology is improving does not mean it's good for humanity. I don't think Tesla will ever disappear, it's here for good (just like Disney and Bud Light) but the current happenings are definitely thread worthy. And my OP is more in relation to EV competition in general and advancements made from Mercedes and BYD than it is to say "BOOOO ELON".

Both Disney and Budweiser outrage was based on politically motivated decisions the companies made. What exactly has Tesla done that was based on politics?

Elon has had more political influence than Disney and Bud Light added together and multiplied by 1000.
Disney's stock price hasn't done $hit for 10 years... those investors should be way more pissed than any Tesla investor.
As far as stock goes? Disney has probably peaked. But Tesla is currently trading at a P/E ratio of 113. Meaning if you purchased the entire company, it would take 113 years to make your money back at it's current revenue. And it's revenue is shrinking rapidly right now.
Nvidia who is supposed to rule the future of the AI industry only has a P/E of 40.
For a regular company that maintains constant profits, a P/E of 20 is ideal. For a growth stock with a bright future? A P/E of 30 or 40 is okay. But a P/E of 113 who's profits are trending down? unsustainable.

Elon IS Tesla. Who regularly spews hatred toward the left every single day on Twitter. I am sure right now he is typing up some post trying to convince you that half the country suffers a mind virus. He is no victim here.
Bud Light? just having a trans person in a commercial isn't even political. They didn't even take a shot at the right. Caitlyn Jenner is right leaning. And on top of that the company as a whole didn't create the ad. It was one woman in the marketing department.
Disney is the same story. Like having a black lead in a movie is political? Cry me a river.
