Re: ESPN's Around The Horn goes out with a whimper, dies on the woke mountain
I don't like the left and I don't like the right but I REALLY don't like the left because some of them are so incredibly brain dead radical like that stupid lesbo in the clip in the OP.
There's a real easy solution to the trans people in sports issue. Just simply abolish gendered sports and that's it.
All the stupid ass women who are the majority of support for this dumbass shit would change their tune quick.
It's either that or we need some men that aren't quite good enough to make it into the men's leagues to start trolling and claiming to be trans so they can dominate the women's leagues.
Re: ESPN's Around The Horn goes out with a whimper, dies on the woke mountain
Actually the last time I watched the show I did notice how it seemed to be getting over the top preachy and trying to be deep. Taking itself way too seriously. It succeeded when it stuck to being a fun and frivolous show.
Re: ESPN's Around The Horn goes out with a whimper, dies on the woke mountain
But doesn't that undermine your argument? You said that ATH was being cancelled due to a change in how people consume content, but PTI being kept on the schedule because they have likable personalities would totally contradict that claim.
You're only proving my point. People tuned out from ATH because the rotating cast members weren't likable.
Fair enough, although I’m sure that PTI viewership isn’t near what it once was either. And I’d also imagine it was always a little higher rated than ATH anyway.
Once the show lost the classic folks like Woody Paige, Mariotti, Adande, Cowlishaw, Jackie Macmullen, etc. then people are naturally going to lose interest as well. And on top of that most of the top younger sports content creators now are using different mediums so the new ESPN folks are second-rate.

It should just be up the league itself. They should be able to make their own rules. The Gov should be out of it completely. If they want to make it all genders they can, if they want to check for v@ginas they can. If they want to allow cats and dogs to play they can. It's their sport. The "trans issue" isn't a real issue because it's just a damn game. It's not serious.

If it’s not serious then it’s not a big deal that they can’t play

Correct
Re: ESPN's Around The Horn goes out with a whimper, dies on the woke mountain
Any of us can start our own sports league if we wanted. None of us should have the Gov dictating our sports rules. Needs to be up to the league.

It’s not a big deal. You can make a tranny league if you want. Shut the f.uck up about it.
Re: ESPN's Around The Horn goes out with a whimper, dies on the woke mountain
Well the problem comes with stuff like the olympics and high schools/colleges.
The pro leagues just will sort themselves out for the most part. I wonder why they haven't already had trans in the pro leagues eh? Anyone wonder about that?
I'm pretty sure all the WNBA lesbos would not be ok with a trans coming in and dominating their league lol.

This is truly rich. So now you're saying you're perfectly fine if a league doesn't want trans women playing with cis women? So long as it's their decision?
Isn't that still discrimination? Doesn't that trample on the rights of trans people?
I thought the biggest bone of contention was the whole discrimination thing, but now you're saying you're okay with discrimination so long as the government isn't involved? Do you have any moral principle at all? By that same logic, I guess that means you would be okay with some racist white store owner not allowing black people into his store?
Are you even an ally to the trans community or were you pretending the entire time?

I've always said this is a nothing-burger.
None of it matters, it's literally just a game. Humans bouncing or kicking a ball around.
It's just tribal fodder for both sides to pretend they care. When in reality they're are only tiny small handful of people this matters to, and those people will be okay of they can't play a meaningless game. Or if they play their opponents will be okay if they lose that game. Sports in general is just entertainment, and the idea that the Gov should dictate how we play our games is ridiculous. We should be able to play games how ever we want to.

Poster Gates would simply explain to the dykes that this isn’t even a big deal and they shouldn’t even care about this anyway.
Then all of ladies would beat the shit out of him on the spot.

Sports aren’t just about winning trophies, they are a vital part of personal growth and development. For many kids, sports offer life skills such as discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership. To dismiss the importance of sports is to overlook how deeply they shape character and help individuals build self esteem and confidence. It's no surprise that some of the most inspirational people in culture are athletes.
Competing in sports also opens doors to scholarships and other professional opportunities. For many people, sports are one of the few ways to access higher education or advance their careers. So there's that too.
So don't say that none of this is important. That's cowardly and that's deflecting from the real issue at hand. It's about preserving the existence of female only spaces and making sure females of all ages have the right to compete fairly. Clearly some part of you agrees with this because you just said you would be okay with excluding trans women. You're really just a giant hypocrite all around.
I predict that in 10 years time you won't be able to find a single person who ever admitted to supporting this insanity. Thankfully their social media posts are etched in history.

None of those things you listed are dependent on the outcome of the game and it's an absolute joke that any one who posts in here pretends to care about this.
How many WNBA games have you watched? This is a basketball forum and even here there is ZERO talk of WNBA.
There are threads for 2017 on the front page of the WNBA forum. But the fairness of their games is of vital importance to you? Give me a break.

Many of you label covid a nothing burger because 99.9% survival rate.
Sports games affected by a trans dude? 0.000000000000001%
Survival rate? 100%
