Because his game speaks for itself. He just put up 27/6/4 on 53/43/84 splits on an awful Suns team. He plugs into most teams easily on offense. He hasn't shown he's slowly down greatly yet. Still has one or two great years left in him at minimum. Still one of the greatest offensive players in the league.
No it doesnt. The Suns team should have never been awful. You still dont get how basketball works. It was awful because of KD.

There are certain GMs that don't seem to think draft picks are worth anything.I understand that they represent the unknown but they are all potentially cheaper, younger talent than whoever you are getting back. Since the 2008 Cs, how many Championships have been won by mortgaging the future?

The Heat is one of the possible destinations for Westbrook. Reunion in the making?
I've never seen an All Time great tossed around the league like a 2 cent whore as much as Durant.

Up until this point it was his own choosing to want to leave except the situation with the Suns. He wanted out of OKC, went Golden State, got two rings there and wanted out and went to Brooklyn, Brooklyn failed he wanted out there, Suns tried to trade him without discussing it with him.

Lebron tossed himself around to HEAT in 2010 with "the decision"
Lebron again tossed himself around to LAL in 2019 after CLE won him ring as a SUPER team.
this is even worst than Durant. Durant was forced to leave GSW by Draymond.
or else, Durant was perfectly happy with Curry and Klay. those 3 never had problem.
