Re: Can anyone find an example of Pippen doing this in the playoffs
Pippen never had 20 points in the 4th quarter regardless of how he gets the points.. Infact, I doubt that Pippen ever had a 13 point fourth quarter.. Pippen couldn't hit the broadside of a barn and had the worst clutch ability ever - this is opposite of Horry.
Btw, Pippen wasn't good at creating his own shot either - he could push the ball on the break and secondary break, but he lacked a breakdown handle in the halfcourt.. He was a system player that lived off of automatic system points and transition - he couldn't average 15 ppg outside the system.. He also had worst-ever efficiency on many occasions and couldn't shoot worth a lick - he was a historic lane-clogger that packed the paint for MJ's drives
I don't think any of that matters. Pippen is clearly a better offensive player than Horry. Horry has barely had seasons where he averaged double figures regular season or playoffs.
I agree that Pippen had several offensive shortcomings, but a comparison to Horry doesn't move the conversation forward. This thread is no better than using Fisher's 12 points in 12 seconds to compare <insert any player's name> and saying you've never seen them do that.
Players with minimal defensive attention, and especially outside shooters tend to have some unsustainable scoring outbursts. It really doesn't mean much in the greater scheme of things.

Op should show us where Horry was ever in consideration for finals mvp due to taking over an entire series on the defensive end d.
