Re: LUKA 37/9/9 and REAVES 30/5/9.. Rui/Ayton 16.. Why would anyone want Bron back?
Lakers are 5th in the league, last year they finished 3rd with Bron.
Were down 70-38 AT HALF-TIME without Bron. They are clearly doing great and dont need him

All 3 of Lakers' best players have had injuries and they have 1 more loss than the 2 seed. They're doing great and could definitely replace Lebron and be a good team in the West. Lebron will still make them a better team but I do think Lakers need to revamp their roster after this season by putting more defense around Reaves & Luka.
Re: LUKA 37/9/9 and REAVES 30/5/9.. Rui/Ayton 16.. Why would anyone want Bron back?
Because:
If LeBron is cutting under a hash mark-trapped/doubled Luka….
…You have a 6’9” 265lb point guard on a 1-2 dribble 4-on-3.
Few higher efficiency offensive possessions in any NBA era than that.

Also, Legler states another very obvious advantage to having Bron come back, in the OKC post-game, about pushing the ball up early and penetrating OKC shell with speed and force early in the clock, to get them in rotation / spin-cycle, to take away some of that insane perimeter defensive strength, in a way that Luka lacks the speed to do without look-ahead passing. And Reaves has the speed, but lacks strength to deal with physical defenders in that same scenario where force and inertia and size can overcome being knocked off track at full speed, and maintain inertia to the bucket, to either beat the collapse to the spot and finish a 2-1, or force collapse to stop the final 2-on-1 finish, and leave a wide open wing 3.
